Questlove to Curate '4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince' Tour

It's highly documented how much of a colossal Prince fan Questlove is, so it’s only right that he curates a special tour in honor of the late Purple One.

The Roots drummer will curate, produce and directed the first and only Prince estate-approved "4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince" tour. According to HipHopDX, Questlove hand-picked his live band who will perform alongside a full symphony orchestra.

In addition to the live performance, the estate has compiled never-before-seen footage of Prince to create a mesmerizing video presentation to go along with the concert.

The 30-city tour kicks off on Sept. 6 in New Brunswick, N.J. and will hit major cities across the U.S. including Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit, Chicago, Orlando, Fla., and Houston before wrapping it up in Kansas City, Mo. We don't see any Minneapolis dates, but we are quite sure the tour will come through and bless Prince's hometown as well.

Tickets for the tour are available right now 4uprince.com.
