Gucci Mane recently sat down with author Malcolm Gladwell and discussed a bunch topics including the popularity Trap Music. Gucci said that his interest in making trap music stems from his love gangsta rap as a kid. He added that most people who make it don’t live the life they’re talking about, which is different from the rappers he grew up with who did.
But he also said that it’s good that kids can make street music without living a street life, and he used his son to illustrate his point.
