Memphis chain-snatchers sell Shy Glizzy’s “Glizzy Gang” chain to CMG artist Blac Youngsta for $10,000.
During a recent performance at a club in the Hickory Hill neighborhood of Memphis, D.C. rapper Shy Glizzy lost his Glizzy Gang chain. The group whom obtained the chain claimed they snatched it because Glizzy declined to do a feature on one of their records. Glizzy, on the other hand, responded to the incident on a new track — rapping over O.T. Genasis and Young Dolph‘s “Cut It” — on which he revealed that the chain fell off his neck, and thus, “broke boys had a fucking scrimmage.”
The chain-snatchers originally put a $50k price tag on the gold chain, but they decided to lower the price to $10k to meet the offer of Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta, who’s signed to Yo Gotti‘s Collective (aka Cocaine) Music Group.
In the video below, Youngsta drives up in a Lamborghini to come complete the transaction. “We asked for 50, but we let Youngsta bring a 10, n*gga. You still come get it n*gga,” said one of the original chain thieves. “Don’t never come to the city no more,” he warned Glizzy upon handing the chain over to Youngsta.
It’s not totally confirmed, but it seems that Youngsta collected the chain on Glizzy’s behalf, an idea that one of the original thieves again suggested in a video shared by DJ Akademiks (who Glizzy dissed on “Cut It”).

Assuming that Youngsta gives the chain back to Glizzy, can the DMV trapper ever sport it with good faith?
