Jeremih Booted From PARTYNEXTDOOR's Summer's Over Tour

Jeremih will have to find new a stage for his (or his rumored body double’s) rants now that he’s been cut from the Summer’s Over Tour. The “Oui” singer was scheduled for four more shows opening for Toronto’s PARTYNEXTDOOR after the two performed across North America throughout November.

Concert production company Live Nation sent a statement to Pitchfork about Jeremih getting bounced from the lineup.

Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately. After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly. Ticketholders may request a full refund at point purchase, which will forfeit access to the entire show. No partial refunds will be issued.

The “multiple incidents” mentioned in the statement include throwing the mic and storming f stage in Chicago on November 29 and then allegedly skipping a concert in Houston days later, where he’s rumored to have sent a duplicate to perform for him.

In Dallas on December 2, the singer went at PND even more directly on stage, ranting that “PartyNextDoor and his crew are some bitch-ass niggas.”

There have been rumors tension between the two artists, with Jeremih reportedly wanting a co-headliner spot rather than playing second fiddle to the Toronto R&B hitmaker.

Jeremih’s Twitter has been a window into his perspective what’s been going on with the tour, but so far he hasn’t addressed his newly opened schedule.

Pepper spray was put in the atmosphere last night on stage while I was performing in Dallas. Surprisingly no blogs picked that up.
