Knicks' Cleanthony Early Shot And Robbed Outside Of Queens Strip Club

The Knicks’ Cleanthony Early was robbed of his gold chain AND the gold caps from his teeth last night outside of the Cityscapes strip club in Maspeth, Queens.

According to reports, the 24-year old forward was surrounded by up to six men outside of the club and shot in the knee. He was later taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

The shooting happened at 4:15 a.m., after Early left CityScapes gentlemen’s club on 58th Street in Maspeth Queens. He was with an unidentified female when he left the club, sources said.  Early was in an Uber cab, about a mile away from the club, when three cars boxed in the vehicle, sources said.  He was shot once in the right knee, police sources said.

“We are aware of what occurred with Cleanthony Early this morning and are relieved that he is not in a life-threatening situation,” the Knicks said in a statement. “We will not comment any further until we receive more information.”

This news comes just one week after another Knicks’ player, Derrick Williams, was robbed of roughly $750,000 in jewelry by two groupies that he invited back to his apartment.

Let’s not forget about Coach Fisher either, who got into a physical altercation with Matt Barnes over the Summer.

Knicks gonna Knicks.
