Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent & Eminem Mock Jimmy Kimmel’s Manhood In “Dre’s Anatomy” Skit

Jimmy Kimmel drafted a quartet of Hip-Hop royalty to assist him with an embarrassing medical issue in a hilarious “Grey’s Anatomy” parody.

On Tuesday night (March 19) Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Eminem joined the talk show host in a skit that saw Kimmel rushed into Dre’s operating theater, where the good doctor made an unfortunate diagnosis.

“This man has no penis,” Dr. Dre declared before asking “Dr. Broadus” for a second opinion. After an examination with a magnifying glass, the duo calls for specialist help.

Dr. Jackson then emerged with a giant telescope, and “Dr. Broadus,” AKA Snoop, made Kimmel “relax” with an oxygen mask dispensing weed smoke.

“Chill, to the next episode,” Snoop advised his patient as Kimmel’s heart rate began to drop. The EKG began beeping as Dre urged, “Turn that up.” The steady beep then transformed into the distinct opening notes of  “Still D.R.E.”

The skit closed out with an appearance from Eminem in full surgeon’s get-up. “You only get one shot,” Em said, holding up a massive syringe filled with green goop, as 50 Cent quips, “One shot? I been shot nine times.”

And at nearly 60 years old, you’re still rocking with me, and I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. Which is really good, because I’m nowhere near done. You better believe there’s a lot more coming.”

Snoop Dogg also took the podium to welcome his “brother from another mother” to the famed sidewalk.

“I want to thank me,” he said, referencing his own song. “I want to thank me for taking the call from Warren and Dr. Dre in 1991. I want to thank me for listening to Dre over the years and letting him be my teacher, mentor, brother, guardian, protector and most importantly a good friend.”

In addition to Dr. Dre’s star, Soto-Martinez officially declared March 19 as Dre Day in the city and presented Dr. Dre with a framed plaque to commemorate the occasion. Dr. Dre is expected to make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! alongside Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent following the ceremony.

Dr. Dre, a 9x-time Grammy Award winner, began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru before co-founding the revolutionary group N.W.A. In 2016, N.W.A became the fifth rap group to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They were honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award earlier this year. Dr. Dre’s solo career began with the 1992 release The Chronic, which has been certified 3x-platinum by the RIAA, reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and won a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance of “Let Me Ride.”

His career has been far from perfect, however. In 1991, he brutally assaulted Pump It Up! host Dee Barnes over an interview he was upset about. In the 2017 HBO documentary The Defiant Ones, he called the incident a “blemish” on who he is as a man. Dre’s wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, filed for divorce in 2020 citing abuse. Their divorce was finalized in 2021 with Dr. Dre agreeing to pay Young $100 million.

Dr. Dre Speaks On Sibling-Like Rivalry With Snoop Dogg: “He Does Too Much”

Dr. Dre wished his friend Snoop Dogg would stop getting involved in so many ad campaigns, businesses and other endeavors. The Aftermath Entertainment founder admitted he’s frustrated by Snoop’s lack of focus on SiriusXM’s This Life of Mine with James Corden.

“I personally think he does too much s### and we’ve been battling and bumping heads about [it],” Dr. Dre said. “Hell yeah I tell him that. I’m always in my big brother mode. I always tell him like, ‘Why the f### are you doing this and that? Come on.’ He’s like, ‘Let me live Dr. Dre, cuz. Let me do my thing, man. Do I bother you about the s### you doing, cuz?’

He continued, “So we have our—I call it sibling rivalries and s### like that, but I would love it if he’d just … focus on this thing and make sure this thing right here that we’re working on is the best that it can be.”

Dr. Dre and Snoop launched an alcoholic canned drink called Gin & Juice in February. The two are also working on a new album titled Missionary, which remained a work-in-progress due to Dr. Dre’s perfectionism.

“I said, ‘Let’s make a whole album,’ and Snoop’s crazy ass is like, ‘Cuz, we can get this whole album done in two weeks,’” the renowned producer told Corden. “I’m like, ‘No we can’t. Nah, we’re not doing that.’ Snoop recently said on some interview, ‘Dr. Dre says I need two more days and he said that to me like 85 times,’ so yeah. I just want to get it done and get it right. That’s all it is.”

Earlier this week, the Hollywood Walk of Fame announced Dr. Dre will receive a star on March 19. The star will be placed next to Snoop’s spot on the Walk of Fame.

Snoop Dogg Reacts To Suge Knight’s “Secret Society” With Diddy & Dr. Dre Accusations

Snoop Dogg was highly amused by Suge Knight claiming the Doggfather is in a shady secret society with fellow Hip-Hop moguls Diddy and Dr. Dre.

On the latest episode of Collect Call With Suge Knight, the Death Row Records co-founder claimed male artists painting their nails and wearing dresses are signs they belong to a “secret society.” Additionally, Knight insisted buying gifts for the embattled Bad Boy honcho is a telltale sign of involvement in the clandestine club.

“Once they start painting they fingernails and wearing women’s clothes, they got you,” Knight began. “I remember when they was giving Puffy an award at the ASCAP Awards — Andre went up there and got him an expensive watch and gave it to him in front of everybody. He basically confessed his love to this man. Then Puffy and Snoop became besties. Every time you see one, you seen the other one. Next thing you know, they start painting they fingernails. Didn’t make sense.”

He continued: “[The] Game bought Puffy a Lamborghini when Puffy got more money than Game. Why you buying this man a Lamborghini? You know your homies don’t even got a Lamborghini. But once again, it’s that secret society. For this thing to work and fix it, they gotta start all the way over in these major record labels and these big buildings. They need to get rid of all the guys who was connected to the poison and the snake.”

Snoop Dogg & 2Pac’s “Mafioso Party” Sparks Dispute Between Singaporean Eatery & Italian Ambassador

A restaurant in the bustling heart of Singapore’s Amoy Street has been the center of controversy during a dustup with the Italian ambassador to the country.

Gotti Italiano faced criticism for naming an event “Hip Hop Mafioso,” which was highlighted through promotional materials featuring images of iconic rappers Snoop Dogg and 2Pac.

The Italian ambassador to Singapore, Dante Brandi, voiced his disapproval, labeling the association with the mafia and the utilization of such imagery as “definitely of dubious taste”.

Ambassador Brandi’s concern, expressed via a Facebook post, centered on the glorification of a criminal mindset and the mafia, elements that have historically pained Italy.

“Mafia is not what my country is proud of. People have died and suffered because of it and – most importantly – people have died and are still dying and suffering to fight it,” the ambassador elucidated, underscoring the gravity of the situation and the emotional impact on those who have battled against mafia influence.

Gotti Italiano took swift action, retracting all promotional content related to the disputed Hip Hop Mafioso event and issuing a public apology for any offense caused.

They stated, “Despite the event starting at 7 pm, as soon as we received Ambassador Dante’s note on Facebook around 8 pm, we took immediate action to remove all marketing communications associated with the event as soon as possible.”

The restaurant emphasized its respect for Ambassador Brandi and Italian culture, stating that future events would be conceived with a keen sensitivity towards cultural implications.

Furthermore, Gotti Italiano addressed the ambassador’s concerns regarding the establishment’s name, revealing an openness to constructive dialogue.

“We are considering all options moving forward. We remain committed to honoring Italian culture and history in every aspect of our business, including our name,” they conveyed, indicating a potential reevaluation of their branding strategy to better reflect cultural heritage and sensibilities.

As conversations around cultural appropriation and sensitivity continue to evolve, the incident serves as a reminder of the intricate balance between creative expression and cultural respect.

Snoop Dogg Says His Youth Football League Produced 12 NFL Players, Doctors, A Rhode Scholar & More

Snoop Dogg is celebrating the success of his youth football league nearly two decades after founding the non-profit organization in 2005.

The Death Row Records boss opened up about the talented youngsters who joined the SYFL program and shared some of their accomplishments during a conversation on Tubi’s new show, Nick Cannon’s Big Drive. According to Snoop, a dozen kids went on to play in the NFL while others chose different career paths.

“We got 12 kids in the NFL, we have 100 in division 1, we expecting to put out three or four this year to the NFL. We have over 100 in high school about to graduate in the next two years. We’re doing our part,” Snoop explained.

He continued, “We have a Rhode scholar, some lawyers, some doctors, police officers. A lot of different kinda kids that come out of my league and with us being able to get into their lives from a different perspective.”

C.J. Stroud Gives Snoop Dogg His Flowers

SYFL alum and Houston Texan star quarterback C.J. Stroud recently praised Snoop Dogg, calling him “one of my biggest role models and a mentor of mine since being young.” The West Coast icon coached Stroud while he was in middle school, and they still share a close bond.

“He used to invite us to his house and things like that,” Stroud explained in a January interview with PEOPLE. “That goes a long way. It just seemed like it is more than where you come from. There’s a lot more to life and he showed us that… So definitely really appreciative and grateful for Coach Snoop and everything that he’s done.”

During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show last month, Snoop Dogg said Stroud makes him feel like a “proud father.”

“He’s so positive,” Snoop Dogg said. “That’s what I like about him is that he’s pushing a different narrative than a lot of these other guys in the league. He’s pushing a real narrative of spirit love and just being a voice of positivity.”
