Travis Scott & Playboi Carti Drop Dizzying Music Video For “FE!N”

It is crazy to think that Travis Scott put out UTOPIA just over eight months ago. It feels like the album only dropped about one month ago with how much we are still bumping the record. While it did not nab La Flame that elusive GRAMMY award he so desperately seeks, it was still easily a top-five LP from 2023. Tracks like “I KNOW ?” “MY EYES,” “TELEKINESIS,” “MODERN JAM,” and so many others were some of the strongest records of the year. “I KNOW ?”, arguably the biggest song from the tape, got its well-deserved visuals. However, fans have been waiting on the “FE!N” music video, too.

But, we can officially say now that we do not have to continue to hope for that any longer. Travis and the song’s feature, Playboi Carti, put together some freaky visuals for the rage collaboration. Some fans have been mixed on the visuals for the album so far, but maybe some will enjoy the cool shots for “FE!N.” If you like spinning videography, then this is the video for you.

Watch Music Video For “FE!N” By Travis Scott & Playboi Carti

Both rappers are constantly shown rotating at blistering speeds, along with some random people, beds, cars, and more. We feel that the artistic reaction matches what “FE!N” was set out to do. It is supposed to give you the feeling that you can run through a wall unscathed. The shots are just as crazy as the beat, evoking a sense of just raging out of control.

What are your thoughts on the brand-new music video for “FE!N” by Travis Scott and Playboi Carti? Does this video fit the song well, why or why not? Is this song still in your rotation? What is your favorite part about the video and why? Who had the better performance on the track? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Travis Scott Requests Dismissal From Astroworld Festival Lawsuit

Travis Scott is looking to avoid a major legal burden. Back in 2021 his Astroworld Festival in Houston became the site of a now notorious festival tragedy. As the crowd rushed the stage during Scott’s performance, tons of people were dangerously compressed with fatal results. A total of 10 people died as a result of the performance getting wildly out of hand. Subsequently, after an investigation into the incident a grand jury declined to indict Scott or anyone else with criminal charges spawning from the tragedy.

But that doesn’t mean anyone is legally off the hook. Hundreds of lawsuits were filed in the months following the festival almost all of which name Scott as a defendant. Now in a newly filed motion he’s attempting to separate himself from the proceedings. “Like any other adrenaline-inducing diversion, music festivals must balance exhilaration with safety and security—but that balance is not the job of performing artists, even those involved in promoting and marketing performances. Which only makes sense: Performing artists, even those who engage in certain promotional activities, have no inherent expertise or specialized knowledge in concert safety measures, venue security protocols, or site-design,” the motion his lawyers filed reads.

Travis Scott Seeking Release From Astroworld Festival Lawsuits

This request for removal comes just a few days after some concerning news about the tragedy leaked via court docs. They showed that one of the heads of security at the festival expressed concerns about overcrowding ahead of the tragedy. In Scott’s dismissal request they specifically mention adjustments being made beforehand in an attempt to alleviate concerns, though they obviously didn’t do enough.

Last week, Scott contributed to what it likely to be one of the biggest rap records of the year. He teamed up with Future, Metro Boomin, and Playboi Carti for the song “TYPE SH*T.” What do you think of Travis Scott asking to be removed from the Astroworld Festival lawsuits? Do you think he has a point that safety isn’t the responsibility of the artists performing? Let us know in the comment section below.

Travis Scott & Kid Cudi Surprise Drop Collab Tape “WEBSTER II” Leaving Many People Questioning If It’s AI

It has been nearly four years since Travis Scott and Kid Cudi formed their duo THE SCOTTS. To celebrate them coming together, the dropped an inaugural self-titled single that did massive numbers. However, since then they have not put out any new material under that moniker. There were some rumblings from Cudi that a SCOTTS record would be a possibility in 2023 after shutting that down the year prior. But fans are still being left in the dark on that to this day. That is until today when Travis Scott and his mentor surprised everyone with an album called WEBSTER II (W E B S T E R I I).

Or did they? Fans have been blowing up X about the record, questioning if its real. Right of the bat, you can tell something fishy is going on here. For example, Uproxx confirmed that neither Scott nor Cudi did anything to promote it on social media. Also working against WEBSTER II is the fact that is credited to THE SCOTTS and JACKBOYS. Of course, the latter is Travis’ collective of Cactus Jack signees Don Toliver Sheck Wes, etc. that dropped their self-titled record in 2019. Furthermore, it is only up on Apple Music.

X Users React To WEBSTER II By Travis Scott & Kid Cudi

The last bit of confirmation that this unfortunately not real, comes from X users giving the actual origins of this tape. In the quoted reply above, he says that this an AI album from Scott called 4th Dimension, which he claims is “hacked.” Even though this turned out to be a hoax, fans who listened to it were digging it. At the time of writing, the project is still available on the platform. But we suspect it will be taken down by the end of the day. Scott and Cudi fans, just keep wishing for a SCOTTS album.

What are your thoughts on this AI Travis Scott and Kid Cudi album, WEBSTER II, dropping on Apple Music? Were you able to catch that it was not a real release? Did any tracks wind up standing out to you? Do you think we are ever going to get a SCOTTS album? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Astroworld Tragedy: New Expert Evidence Shows Organizers Of Travis Scott’s Festival Misjudged Crowd Capacity

Travis Scott and the organizers of his Astroworld music festival are facing renewed scrutiny after new court documents revealed that the event’s safety head expressed concerns about potential overcrowding prior to the deadly concert.

According to reports, Seyth Boardman, who helped create Astroworld’s operational plans, expressed apprehensions about accommodating 50,000 attendees in front of the stage days before the festival.

Had Boardman’s worries been addressed, the tragic events that unfolded on November 5, 2021, when a crowd surge at the concert in Houston led to the deaths of ten individuals and injured hundreds, may have never happened.

Boardman’s concerns highlight a broader issue of miscalculated crowd management strategies.

The recent filings in the mass civil litigation against the festival’s organizers, Live Nation, and Travis Scott himself include conversations and expert evidence suggesting a significant underestimation of the space required per person to avoid overcrowding.

Organizers erroneously believed the fire safety code permitted five square feet per person, whereas seven was required.

This oversight contributed to the squeeze of approximately 50,000 people into a space designed for 34,500, exacerbating the risk of a crowd crush.

Additional concerns highlighted include the potential for gatecrashers to further swell the crowd numbers and a lack of effective monitoring for signs of crowd distress.

Security breaches on the day of the festival have also been identified as a critical factor that contributed to the tragedy.

In the wake of the Astroworld disaster, over 4,900 individuals alleging to be victims have pursued legal action, seeking billions in damages for what has been described as negligence in the event’s organization and management.

Drake, who performed with Travis Scott on the night, has been named in some of the lawsuits.

However, his legal team is seeking his dismissal from these cases because he was not involved in the festival’s planning and was unaware of any safety concerns.

So far, Travis Scott has cooperated with investigators. He conducted an eight-hour deposition in September 2023, and no criminal charges were levied against him.

The focus remains mainly on the broader event management and safety protocols that failed to prevent the tragedy.

The Astroworld incident has prompted a reassessment of crowd management and safety standards at large events, which could have potential implications for future festival planning and the legal responsibilities of artists and organizers.

Metro Boomin, Future, & Travis Scott Deliver The Dreamy Fan-Favorite “Cinderella”

Most hip-hop fans would agree on the fact that Soundcloud has given us incredible snippets. To play devil’s advocate, it may ruin the listening experience when a song gets leaked and then eventually released. But in the case of Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Cinderella,” fans of the unfinished version were dying to see it get officially dropped. There was some speculation that this was going to be on UTOPIA given the time it made its way onto Soundcloud.

Instead, its home is Future and Metro Boomin’s eagerly awaited WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The album has been getting everyone talking in its first day out thanks to Kendrick Lamar’s surprise appearance. His shots toward Drake and J. Cole have been the main focus of this project for the most part. But “Cinderella” is still a big deal as well and hearing Travis Scott on it still was the cherry on top.

Listen To “Cinderella” By Future, Metro Boomin, & Travis Scott

The unreleased version feels a little louder, while this official release relies a little heavier on the atmosphere from Future and Travis’ gravelly and subdued flows. Additionally, the twinkly synths that give the beat so much character are more prevalent and sound a little different too. Some are already complaining that the trio should have just stuck with the one everybody was used to. But we are here to say that Metro, Future, and Travis still did an incredible job keeping the spirit of the fan-favorite with the welcomed tweaks.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Cinderella,” by Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott? Is this the best track on the album, why or why not? Who had the strongest performance on the record? Did the trio remaster the song well, or do you prefer the Soundcloud version more? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Travis Scott Asked for Kendrick Lamar Drake Diss at Rolling Loud

Travis $cott wanted Future and Metro Boomin to debut Kendrick Lamar‘s Drake diss at Rolling Loud California in a big way.

Travis Scott Demands That Future Perform “Like That” at Rolling Loud

A portion of Future and Metro Boomin’s recent headlining set at Rolling Loud California began to make its rounds across the internet on Friday (March 22) for a reason that has nothing to do with the lauded rapper-producer combo. In the video below, Travis $cott, who joined the duo on stage, adamantly urged Hendrix and Young Metro to debut their new track “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar, which happens to find Kung Fu Kenny taking shots at both Drake and J. Cole.

“Hey, before y’all get of here, bro, just play that dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun,” Travis $cott begs at the video’s 10:20-mark in reference to the opening measures of the We Don’t Trust You cut. “Please, bro. I’m sorry, Metro’s trying to get out of here. Nah, Metro, you’re gon’ let that s**t go right now, bro.”

From there, the bass blares, pyros emit flames from the sides of the stage and Future dives into the first verse of “Like That” to close out the lively performance. However, after the first chorus, Future and Metro’s set ends before Kendrick’s scathing verse is heard by the massive Rolling Loud audience.

Did Travis Scott Know Kendrick Lamar Disses Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s New Song?

Given that Future and Metro Boomin’s onstage rendition of “Like That” ended before Kendrick Lamar’s guest feature, and that the Rolling Loud California performance happened before the public release of the song today, it’s unclear as to whether or not Travis Scott knew that the song contained shots toward his friend and frequent collaborator Drizzy Drake. However, the fact that Cactus Jack was so determined to have the song heard in front of such a large audience has caused much speculation regarding his intentions.

Metro Boomin & Future Hit Rolling Loud Stage With Travis Scott To Tease “Type S***”

To close out Rolling Loud in Inglewood, California this past weekend, Future and Metro Boomin did the honors of being the headlining acts. It seems like it was a huge success for this iconic trap rap hitmaking duo. Some of their standout performances included Quavo joining them to play “Turn Yo Clic Up,” as well as “Mask Off.” However, another one of their surprise guests helped make this segment of their time on stage the talk of the evening. Travis Scott joined Future and Metro Boomin for a live taste of their upcoming collaboration “Type S***.”

This has been the only track that Metro and Future have really promoted ahead of their forthcoming LP We Don’t Trust You. The duo announced the record, along with a second about a week and a half ago. It is scheduled to drop on March 22, with the unnamed follow-up supposedly coming on April 12. This is now the third time this song has been played. Playboi Carti, who can be heard the most in the performance below, previewed the snippet as well.

Metro Boomin & Future Continue To Have Fans Hyped

However, with Metro saying there will be no features on the record, fans are still left hanging on the edge of their seats. This is especially true because there are just four days remaining before we get something from the Georgia icons. There are also some theories floating around that this will be a Carti track for Music. Him and Metro have been reportedly cooking up stuff as of late, so there is that. Wherever it winds up, the song looks to be a hit.

What are your thoughts on Metro Boomin, Future, and Travis Scott teasing their collaboration “Type S***” again at Rolling Loud? Do you think “We Don’t Trust You” will wind up having features? Will this be an album of the year contender, why or why not? Who will do the best on the track? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
