Young Thug Trial: Lead Prosecutor Will Remain On The Case After Judge’s New Ruling

We’re already months into the Young Thug trial and it doesn’t appear to be close to reaching a resolution. In fact, some involved with the case have estimated that if the witness list isn’t shortened the trial could go on until 2027. Whether or not the bold prediction comes true remains to be seen but in the meantime the trial is continuing on despite one controversy after another throughout.

Most recently, Young Thug’s lawyers filed a new motion. They were attempting to have the lead prosecutor on the case, Adriane Love, removed from the trial. But after a newly announced ruling from the judge, she’s officially staying on the case. Video sharing the announcement features hundreds of comments about the judge’s bias. Fans following the trial have pointed out numerous times they felt like the judge was acting overtly biased in favor of the prosecution. “That judge want thug in jail I never seen a trial last this last long” and “Judge is bias common knowledge” two of the top comments on a post sharing the videos read. Check out the full announcement the judge made today.

Lead Prosecutor Will Stay On Young Thug RICO Trial

Messy stories about the YSL RICO trial seem to emerge almost every day. Earlier this week one of the witnesses in the case was being cross examined when she revealed some concerning details. She accused one of the investigators in Fulton County’s District Attorney’s office of sexually harassing her.

That came just a few days after a witness was allegedly forced to take the stand despite reporting suicidal thoughts. The witness was allegedly robbed in 2013 and the prosecution is attempting to prove Thug’s connection to it. But she was forced to take the stand despite making it clear she wanted no part in the trial. What do you think of the newest developments in the Young Thug YSL RICO trial? Do you think the court should take steps to prevent the trial from lasting as long as it appears it will? Let us know in the comment section below.

Young MC Marries Longtime Love At Arizona Wedding Officiated By Montell Jordan

Young MC (real name Marvin Young) is officially a married man (but no, the bride wasn’t dressed in yellow). The “Bust A Move” legend said “I do” at a modest ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday (March 24) officiated by Montell Jordan. Other attendees included Young MC’s longtime friend and collaborator Tone Lōc, Rob Base, C+C Music Factory frontman Freedom Williams, The Beat Junkies’ DJ Icy Ice and the UFC’s DJ AL3.

Rain put a damper on the outdoor portion of the event, but they were prepared for potential bad weather and able to move everything inside. Jordan, who became a worship leader at Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia in 2010, expertly guided the couple through their vows, while adding several comedic comments throughout, including a “this is how we do it” joke.

“Marriage is a sacred spiritual covenant that reminds us Gods love never fails us … people should see your marriage and know that God is real,” Jordan says in part. “That’s why we’re here. Now, if anyone that has just cause for why these two should not be married, please feel free to leave now ’cause nobody wants to hear all that. You just have bad timing. This is how we do it.”

He later joked, “The miracle is not that Marvin is getting married. The miracle is we get to see one plus one equals one.”

Of course, no wedding would be complete without a reception. Following the couple’s vows and “I now pronounce you husband and wife” portion, the party moved into the banquet hall, where DJs Debonair, Icy Ice and AL3 eventually took over the decks. And—yep—everyone (including Tone Lōc and Montell Jordan)—proceeded to bust a move. As the night went on, it was only a matter of time before the attending MCs grabbed the mic for an impromptu performance, which made the evening feel complete.

AllHipHop wishes all the best for Young MC and his new wife, Chantal.

SIGNS: Man Claims He Got Biologically Younger After Spending 100-Days Underwater

In a tale straight out of science fiction, Dr. Joseph Dituri made headlines after embarking on a groundbreaking underwater journey that he claims reversed his aging process.

The daring scientist plunged into the depths of a Florida lagoon, spending a staggering 100 days submerged beneath the waves in a high-pressure habitat. But this was no mere aquatic adventure. In fact, Dr. Dituri was on a mission to unlock the secrets of longevity and explore the potential of hyperbaric environments to rejuvenate the human body.

As Dr. Dituri delved into the murky depths, he not only conducted groundbreaking research but also stumbled upon a “brand new species,” adding an unexpected twist to his underwater odyssey. In his aquatic abode, a cramped 9m x 9m room accessible only by scuba diving, the intrepid scientist meticulously monitored his body’s response to the extreme pressure, all while juggling virtual teaching sessions with eager schoolchildren.

But the true revelation came when Dr. Dituri resurfaced from his aquatic sojourn, claiming his body had undergone a remarkable transformation. According to blood tests, the 56-year-old scientist boasted a 50 percent reduction in inflammatory markers, effectively shedding years off his biological age. In a jaw-dropping revelation to reporters, Dr. Dituri unveiled the astonishing results.

“I’m 56 now and my extrinsic [biological] age was 44,” Dr. Dituri told an Orlando news outlet. “When I got out of the water, my extrinsic age was 34. So, my telomeres lengthened. I actually got younger when I was under the water.”

Despite skeptics casting doubt on his claims, Dr. Dituri remains steadfast in his belief that the hyperbaric environment played a pivotal role in his alleged age reversal. Check out the proof the man says justify his claims above.

NBA YoungBoy Fans Lose It Over Matching Outfit Photo With Another Rapper

NBA YoungBoy is trending following the release of his latest collaborative single featuring his close associate Herm Da Sheep.

In case you hadn’t caught on by now, YoungBoy and his Never Broke Again artist Herm teamed up for their new visual single “My BoBo” earlier this week. In keeping on brand with the Never Broke Again aesthetic, the visual appears to depict a fair amount of green flag activity between YoungBoy and Herm’s matching green sweatsuits and an array of luxury vehicles and jewelry.

While it’s clear the two Baton Rouge natives are locked in for life and share a bond that goes beyond music, fans now appear to be unclear about how deep their relationship is. Following a post Herm shared on Instagram, the circulation of a photo of the pair from the roundup has fans questioning YoungBoy’s body language.

In particular, it appears fans took issue with the snapshot of YoungBoy gripping one of Herm’s dreads. As a result, several people teed off on the semi-awkward flick in the comments section of the post.

“Broo why are u playin wit dis n###a hair??,” a user questioned off the bat.

Another user targeted the matching fits madness in their retort as they added, “This looks like some Diddy Meek Mills type of s###. Matching outfits and he holding bro hair. #WTF.”

The discourse even made it to Twitter (X), where users appeared to be in disagreement with each other about whether YoungBoy and Herm were actually related.

One X user wrote, “That’s his brother relax,” while another user wrote, “Whole time that’s his cousin and he just dissing someone.”

In the end, it all somehow boiled down to Birdman, as multiple Twitter users attempted to make a connection to the record executive and NBA YoungBoy’s recent “zesty” outbursts, as classified by some of his more critical listeners.

“Ever since NBA linked with Birdman he been acting sweet maybe Birdman caw cawwwed in him,” a user suggested, while another user added, “Birdman turned NBA YoungBoy out.”

What do y’all think? Is this type suspect or are folks dragging it out per usual?

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is selling his massive mansion for $5.5 million.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again Lists Utah Mansion for Sale While on House Arrest

It’s been more than two years since YoungBoy Never Broke Again was placed on house arrest stemming from a 2021 gun charge in his home city of Louisiana. Now, it looks like he is gearing up to get back outside. On Feb. 26, YB put the gorgeous mansion in Salt Lake City, Utah he’s been confined to up for sale for a cool $5.5 million.

NBA YoungBoy has been doing it big despite not being able to leave his homestead. According to Zillow, the impressive crib sprawls over 8,800 square feet and overlooks breathtaking views of Salt Lake City as it sits atop what the Louisiana rhymer has dubbed Gravedigger Mountain.

The photos and video below show off the mansion’s hybrid interior/exterior layout complete with top-to-bottom glass walls, a master bedroom with a fireplace and enough closet space throughout to never wear the same fit twice. Aside from four bedrooms and four marble-laced bathrooms, YoungBoy’s crib contains a central living room with a designer pool table, a room full of bunkbeds and table-top games for the crew and a studio so YB can keep up with his neverending output of new music.

NBA YoungBoy’s Current Legal Situation

Despite apparently looking to unload his duds fit for a king, YoungBoy Never Broke Again isn’t quite clear from his ongoing legal woes just yet. Just days after listing the mansion on real estate sites, the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana filed a court motion on Feb. 29 implying that YB has violated his pre-trial release conditions in the aforementioned firearms case.

The filing claims that NBA YoungBoy violated his conditions by continuing to use drugs and that he told his supervising officer that “he has no intentions to discontinue using the substance that resulted in the violation.” As a result, he could be facing jail time pending the judge’s upcoming ruling.

EXCLUSIVE: Young Buck’s Music Rights Auction Attracts Major Bids, Awaits Court Approval

In a recent move that could mark a significant turning point in the financial woes that have plagued David Darnell Brown, better known by his stage name Young Buck, the Chapter 7 Trustee of his bankruptcy case, Erica R. Johnson, has sought court approval to auction off the rapper’s music catalogs.

This decision comes after multiple attempts to stabilize the finances of the Nashville-based rapper, who first filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and then again a decade later in 2020, have not resulted in a long-term solution.

The catalogs in question comprise various rights associated with Young Buck’s music, including performance, mechanical, and publishing royalties, as well as song copyrights.

These have been registered with leading music industry entities like the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) and Universal Music Publishing, Inc. (UMPG), among others.

An initial agreement to sell these catalogs to Middleton Open Season Partners I LLC for $730,000 fell through after an objection by another party, leading to an auction that saw Structured Asset Sales, LLC (SAS) placing the winning bid of $917,500.

[embedded content]

However, that deal also did not come to fruition, prompting a renegotiation with Middleton Open Season Partners I, which has now agreed to acquire the catalogs for $800,000, pending court approval.

The sale of Young Buck’s song catalogs not only represents a significant step in addressing the rapper’s financial challenges but also underscores the complex nature of bankruptcy proceedings, especially involving artists whose primary assets are their creative works.

Trustee Erica R. Johnson has expressed her belief that the sale price is fair and intends to use the proceeds to settle various debts, including administrative expenses and taxes, with the aim of fully satisfying both priority and general unsecured debts.

Should the court approve the amended purchase agreement, it will close a chapter in Young Buck’s ongoing struggle to find financial stability while also opening up new possibilities for the rapper’s music to find fresh avenues for appreciation and monetization under new ownership.
