Adele ‘heading to Hollywood’ for first ever acting role

The mum one is said to have been approached by film makers planning a remake the 1968 classic.

Adele would star as the female lead, Nancy, in the production.

A source told The Sun: “It would be a major part for her and she’s seriously considering it.

“She’s talked about her son] Angelo being her number one priority and she sees this as a role that he could appreciate too,” they added.

“It would be a new challenge for her but one she would definitely be up for.”

It would mark the Hello songstress’ first acting role, after she said she was done with touring earlier this year.

West End producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Working Title Films are said to be producing the movie, after their success 2012 film revival stage musical Les Miserables.

It comes after Adele cancelled the final two her last ever tour dates earlier this year after damaging her vocal cords.

She took to Twitter to post an emotionally-charged apology to her fans, where she explained the tragic reason she would no longer be performing her hits in her home city on July 1 and 2 – ending her four date run at Wembley Stadium.

Clearly “devastated” by her decision, the Chasing Pavements beauty revealed to fans that it was doctor’s orders that she no longer performs, and continually apologised for her inability to put on a show in front a crowd thousands.
