Beauty and the Beast music video: Ariana Grande dresses as The Rose

Ariana and John Legend perform the titular track from the Beauty and the Beast remake and the video has been released.

In it, Grande is wearing a voluminous red dress and surrounded by dancers wearing matching petal costumes.

As she and John sing the lyrics to the classic Disney song, Ariana and the dancers create a human rose.

The Rose is famous in Beauty and the Beast as it measures time the Prince has left to break the curse that turned him into the Beast.

Ariana and John take over the duet from Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson who released "Beauty and the Beast" as a single in 1991.

The new version will appear on the ficial movie soundtrack along with all the original songs and new ones.

Celine Dion sings “How Does A Moment Last Forever,” written by Alan Menken and Tim Rice, during the end credits the movie.

Menken wrote the original music for the Disney animation and Rice is known for The Lion King and his many musical collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber.

“Being a part the original Beauty and the Beast was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m truly honoured to be a part this film again,” Dion said Instagram.

The new Beauty and the Beast sees Emma Watson and Dan Stevens take the titular roles with Sir Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the supporting cast.
