DJ Khaled I’m The One lyrics, meaning and all the people who perform on the track

I’m The One is the first single from DJ Khaled’s unreleased new album, Grateful, and features Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, Quavo, Justin Bieber.

The American DJ celebrated the platinum achievement on Instagram with a post the single artwork, which features his son Asahd Khaled  prominently, and praising his We The Best label, its parent company Epic Records, and his management company Roc Nation.

“ANOTHER ONE!! I will never stop!! #IMTHEONE PLATINUM!!!!!! #GRATEFUL me and my son will give the world the release date soon! Very soon!!! @wethebestmusic @epicrecords @rocnation FAN LUV THANK YOU!! (sic),” Khaled tweeted.

The song seems have mixed messages over what it’s about.

Justin’s chorus seems to be about a guy telling a girl that he’s “the one” for her and that she shouldn’t be intimidated by him.

However, Quavos, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne seem to have different opinions about the girls chasing them, with a few suggestions that the ladies in question are after their fame and money.

Hip hop, eh?

Justin Bieber (DJ Khaled):]
Yeah, you’re lookin’ at the truth, the money never lie, no
I’m the one, yeah, I’m the one
Early mornin’ in the dawn, know you wanna ride now. (Let’s ride.)
I’m the one, yeah. (Let’s ride.)
I’m the one, yeah
Yeah, you’re sick all those other imitators
Don’t let the only real one intimidate you
See you watchin’, don’t run outta time now

Justin Bieber:]
I’m the one, yeah, oh-eh-oh oh-eh-oh
I’m the one oh-eh-oh oh-eh-oh
