Predictably the Internet went into meltdown over the new release from the One Direction heart throb.
During a chat on BBC Radio 1 with his pal Nick Grimshaw, Harry introduced the track.
His fans instantly flooded with social media with their opinions.
"How can a song be so perfect? I cried when I hear it, your voice is incredible and the song is beautiful," one fan wrote.
"Can you believe Harry Styles was only 23 when he ended everyone's singing career #SignOfTheTimes," another added.
A third wrote: "Do people texting me about normal stuff really think I care about anything that's not harry styles right now? #SeriousQuestion."
EastEnders star Tilly Keeper wrote: "It's 2017 and I'm still not over Harry Styles am I ok?"
The Vamps member James McVey also gave his opinion on the track: “Great to hear music from @Harry_Styles. An inspiring progression, harnessing elements Bowie emotion. #SignOfTheTimes”
Harry’s mum Anne Twist was clearly delighted by her son and shared her pride on her Instagram page.
Sharing a snap herself and family enjoying an early morning glass champagne, she wrote: "Yaaaayyyyy! Smashed it babe!"
