Katie Price to ‘RELAUNCH pop career’ with new single

The Loose Women panellist is reportedly planning to launch a music career later this year.

Katie's first attempt at a pop career was in 2005 when she competed to be a representative for the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest.

She lost out to Javine, but a year later had released a Disney duets album with then-husband Peter Andre.

In 2010, Katie released a single, "Free to Love Again," which peaked at No. 60 on the UK singles chart, but now she's allegedly hoping for wider success.

"Katie’s dreamt being a pop star her whole life, she didn’t set out to be a Page 3 model but being a pressional singer is her biggest ambition," a friend told The Sun.

"People may laugh at the idea her becoming a pop star but she has the grit and determination to make it big. The single is out later this year."

OK! Online have contacted Katie's rep for comment.

It's surprising that the mother--five wants to pursue a singing career when she admitted that she couldn't sing.

"I'm not a singer, this is just something that I'm doing for fun," Katie said in 2010."It's not like I'm worried about getting a chart position or number one, this is purely for fun. Whether people like it or not, I'm doing it."

Price isn't just pursuing a music career though as she landed her first film role in the fifth instalment Sharknado.
