Logic brings “Everyday” to “Ellen.” Fresh off the release of Bobby Tarantino II, the Maryland rapper performs his new Marshmello collaboration on the daytime talk show.
Before launching into the performance, Logic celebrated the moment. “We made it,” he yelled. “We’re on ‘Ellen.’ This is crazy.” Midway through the performance, Logic continued to beam with joy. “I’m so happy,” he added. “I love you, Ellen!”
Marshmello didn’t hit the stage, but the masked man showed up for a cameo at the end. Logic also used the performance as an opportunity to propose a gaming battle with one of his influences. “Tell that boy Drake he don’t want it with me in Fortnite,” he added, as a nod to Drizzy’s recent Twitch stream.
Bobby Tarantino’s gaming challenge follows praise. “Drake doesn’t realize, in many ways, he was like the big brother I never had,” he recently explained. “He set the example and paved the way for me to be myself. Now, whether I’m at the Grammys or whether I’m here or there, or whatever, he’ll show me love…People don’t realize what that’s like, what that means.”
Logic is also bringing “Everyday” on the road. The Def Jam MC’s forthcoming “Bobby Tarantino Vs. Everybody Tour” is set to extend from June 8 in Boston through Aug. 3 in St. Louis.
