Niall’s tour will kick f his solo tour in Dublin on 31 August, before a London show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 3 September.
The London date is the only one scheduled so far for the UK, and after fans expressed their disappointment at the limited chances to see the One Direction singer in concert, Niall told fans that he will be putting on more shows next year.
In a handwritten note on his Instagram account, Niall explained to his fans why he’s not doing as many stops on the tour as fans want.
He wrote: “Hi guys, it’s been incredible to see such an amazing reaction to the Flicker Sessions.
“Thank you so much as per usual for your love and support. For those you wondering why I’m not stopping nearer you this time please bear with me a little longer while I plan 2018.
“This is just the beginning and an opportunity for me to re-learn the craft doing shows and touring in general.
“Please stay patient, and there will be more exciting news soon.
“Love you all, Nialler.”
The Irishman’s fans appeared happy with this heartfelt explanation about the tour’s route, with one fan writing: “Thanks Niall, I hope next time you include more south American countries.”
A second said: “Your handwriting is amazing for a guy, it’s so legible. Love it!”
