After completely wiping clean all her social media accounts and her ficial website, Taylor Swift returned to the internet three days later with a series creepy snake videos.
Hinting she was soon to make a big announcement her comeback, Taylor uploaded a different section the same snake clip every day since Monday.
And on Wednesday, she finally revealed what she was up to, announcing her new album, Reputation, which will be released November 10 and the first single, which will be out Thursday night.
Sharing the news her comeback with her 85.4 million Twitter followers, the 27 year old shared a series uploads – one which sees the pop star staring steely at the camera as she sports a ripped, grey jumper.
With her wavy locks scraped away from her face and rocking a bold, dark lipstick, Taylor looks worlds away from the pristine pop princess fans are familiar with seeing.
And behind her image, mock newspaper articles with her name in the headlines fill the entire right side the picture.
While she was soon flooded with replies from her excited fans, some were quick to question her choice in her album title’s font, while others simply said: “Taylor is coming!”
Taylor’s last album, 1989, was released in 2014, marking her current comeback as the longest break she has taken between albums in her entire career.
The singer’s return to the music scene comes after she teased fans all week with a series snake clips.
On Monday, she shared a short, glitchy clip a snake’s tail, before uploading its curling body on Tuesday.
