Maisie Smith is currently pursuing a music career and exclusively shared with OK! Online the video for “Where My Heart Is.”
But when asked what she thought about the pop comebacks the likes Steps and B*Witched, Maisie was none the wiser.
“No, I don’t really know who they are,” she said though admitted that she is a fan successful comebacks.
“I love it when old acts do new things, like Craig David. I love his new and old songs,” Maisie enthused.
“I saw him at V festival last year and it was definitely the best performance I think out everyone.”
As Maisie is 15, she can be forgiven for not knowing who Steps or B*Witched are as she wasn’t even born when the bands brought out their debut singles.
Steps’ “5,6,7,8” was released in 1997 and B*Witched’s “C’est La Vie” a year later in 1998.
Both bands are back on the music scene, with Steps releasing a new album to mark their 20th anniversary.
“Scared the Dark” was the first single from Tears on the Dancefloor and briefly knocked Ed Sheeran’s “Galway Girl” f the top the iTunes Singles chart.
They’ll be heading out on tour this November, while B*Witched are planning their comeback next year to mark their own 20th anniversary.
