Who is Jimmy Constable? Everything you need to know about the 911 star

The 911 star is hoping to launch a country music career after first gaining success in the Nineties boyband.

Jimmy started his career as a dancer on the dance music show, The Hitman and Her, where he met Simon “Spike” Dawbarn.

Jim and Simon formed 911 in 1995 with Lee Brennan in and they trio built their fanbase by doing regional performances at schools and pubs before independently releasing their first two singles, A Night to Remember and Love Sensation.

911 was signed by Virgin Records and they went on to sell 10 million singles and six million albums before splitting in 2000.

Jimmy admitted that he turned to drugs and alcohol after the band parted ways and even considered suicide.

“I found myself in my old single bed with a bottle Jack Daniel’s and a bottle pain killers and thought about ending it there and then,” he told the Daily Star.

“The only thing that stopped me was thinking about the devastation it would cause for my family.”

The band briefly got back together for the ITV2 reality show, The Big Reunion, in 2012 but now Jimmy is hoping to make his country music dreams a reality.

The singer has set up a Pledge Music page to raise funds to make that album, said to be “in a new direction from what a typical 911 fan is used to.”

Jimmy has already recorded two songs, Tell The Truth and Hearts Lost Heart, but needs financial support to complete the full album called Road to Evolution.
