Suge Knight Warns Drake For Making Tupac A “Pawn” In Kendrick Lamar Beef

Suge Knight slammed Drake for using AI-generated Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur verses to diss Kendrick Lamar on “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Last Saturday (April 20), the Canadian superstar stunned fans by dropping another diss record at K. Dot after officially adding “Push Ups” to DSPs a day prior. Alongside his own verse, he “featured” West Coast legends Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac.

The former Death Row Records boss addressed the topic on the latest episode of Collect Call With Suge Knight.

“Young people do what young people do,” he began. “It’s y’all turn, but regarding the homie ‘Pac, he wasn’t no chump. Putting him on a song and dissing Kendrick [Lamar] for everybody entertainment — that ain’t how it go.”

When discussing Drake using a deep fake Snoop to attack Lamar, Suge Knight repeated his suggestion that the Doggfather was involved in Tupac’s murder.

“Then putting him on a song with Snoop, who was a part of his downfall and exit, ain’t ever a good look. ‘Pac was a king on that chessboard. He never was a pawn, so he can’t make him be a pawn now,” Knight stated.

He also warned that Drake, “sneaking in the Lion’s den” of West Coast gang members could unite the various affiliates. “The West Coast is a whole state of real gang members of all colors, all races,” he added. “Enter with caution.”

Meanwhile Snoop Dogg shared his reaction to Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” in a Instagram video.

“They did what? When? How? Are you sure? [Sigh] Y’all have a good night,” he said in the clip. “Why everybody calling my phone, blowing me up? What the f###— what happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed. Good night.”

Kanye West Drags J. Cole Over Kendrick Lamar Apology: “You Can’t Run Now”

Kanye West shared his savage reaction to J. Cole apologizing to Kendrick Lamar after dissing the Pulitzer Prize winner on “7 Minute Drill.”

During an interview on The Download podcast, Ye, who fired at Cole on the remix to Lamar’s Future and Metro Boomin’ hit, “Like That,” dismissed the Dreamville Records founder for walking back his attack on K. Dot. He also called out Cole for not backing his “First Person Shooter” collaborator and tour partner Drake.

“F### all that p#### s###,” West told host Justin Laboy. “F### all that s###. Because, like that n#### J. Cole went on tour with Drake, he know what it is. Like, n####, you can’t run now. It’s you also.”

When the host suggested that “it’s up for Cole,” West doubled down. “You can’t say up and Cole in the same sentence,” he added.

Ye also insisted he’s not a fan of the Fayetteville MC and isn’t interested in his music.

“I don’t listen to J. Cole,” West stated. “I just heard he had a song called ‘False [Prophets]’ and somebody told me it’s halfway about me.”

Elsewhere on the podcast, West recalled Future plotting the “elimination of Drake” after recruiting him for the “Like That” remix.

“Pluto called me,” he explained. “I went to the studio, laid that. And then we went through the creative process, adding the chorus … You know, everybody was very, very excited about the elimination of Drake. Not excited – we was energized.”

The Ball Is in Kendrick Lamar’s Court, What’s He Going to Do Now?

Kendrick Lamar is ready for war. Or is he?

The Compton, Calif. rapper set the rap world on fire in March with his show-stealing verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which found him dissing J. Cole and Drake. Cole swung back on the since-deleted track “7 Minute Drill” before gracefully (or disgracefully, depending on who you ask) bowing out of the beef. That left Drake.

After some time to simmer, Aubrey tagged himself in when his diss track “Push Ups” leaked on April 13. On the now-confirmed diss, the 6 God goes at Future, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, and of course Kendrick, who got it the worst.

“Your last one bricked, you really not on s**t/They make excuses for you ’cause they hate to see me lit,” Drake snaps. “Pull your contract ’cause we gotta see the split/The way you doin’ splits, b***h, your pants might rip/ You better do that muthaf**kin’ show inside the bitty/Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty/Then we need a verse for the Swifties/Top say drop, you better drop and give ’em 50.”

“Pipsqueak, pipe down/You ain’t in no Big 3, SZA got you wiped down/Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down/Like your label, boy, you in the scope right now/And you gon’ feel the aftermath of what I write down/I’m at the top of the mountain, so you tight now/Just to have this talk with yo’ a*s, I had to hike down/Big difference between Mike then and Mike now/What the f**k is this, a twenty-V-one, n***a?/What’s a prince to a king? He a son, n***a.”

Drizzy has since doubled down, releasing the song “Taylor Made” freestyle on April 19. With the use of A.I., Drake uses vocals from Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur to taunt K-Dot. It’s starting to get ugly. Ye has even entered the chat, debuting his remix verse to “Like That” where he disses Drake and curiously J. Cole.

So, now, Kendrick has to respond, right? RIGHT??

The Pump Fake Kendrick Lamar Diss

On April 15, the rap world thought they had gotten the response they were looking for when an alleged “Kendrick Lamar diss song” leaked online. The song found “Kendrick” sniping at J. Cole and Drake.

“One rap n***a dead, laid on the floor/And I didn’t have to throw bullets for him to go/Now that we got that out of the way, it’s one more to go,” the lyrics go. “Stop wasting time, let’s get the show on the road/N***as was ignoring with deep disses, and when they get, that’s why they entertained it as sneak disses/And now that it’s direct, it’s leaked disses from burner pages and all/Insecure behavior from n***as y’all call gods/I know that you were sensitive, an emphasis on lame/Seeking validation from rap critics slandering names/Legacy forever cemented, I will reign/The next move make your best move, it’s detrimental.”

It turns out, the track was totally fake. An artist named Sy The Rapper later took responsibility for the song. However, not everyone believes him.

Will Kendrick Lamar Return Fire? The Rap World Is Waiting

While K-Dot has remained silent, there have been rumblings that he has something big in store. Back on April 10, Joe Budden claimed both Drake and Kung-Fu Kenny had disses in the works that are going to be mammoth.

“I have it on good information that both sides went in the booth and came out,” Joe explained on an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. “What I’m hearing about both sides is that it’s nuclear. It’s up-up. I’m hearing this from people that can rap. So, I want to come in here and say that speculation time is over. Debate time is over.”

Drake’s “Push Ups” leaked a few days later. So there is a chance Joe’s sources are accurate about K-Dot as well.

On an April 18 episode of TJBP, cohost Ish also talked about an impending Kendrick response.

“Some people that have heard the Kendrick track, I heard that his energy is just something that’s going to be hard for Drake to match. They said he’s coming on some ’Pac ‘Hit Em Up’ energy,” Ish explained.

As one of the most reclusive artists in the game, K-Dot is being tight-lipped. Even in the midst of more taunts from Champagne Papi. Is this the calm before the rap prodigy delivers the storm? Hip-hop is in wait-and-see mode.

50 Cent Shares Surprising Thoughts On Drake’s Newest Kendrick Lamar Diss

Out of the two Drake diss tracks that he launched against Kendrick Lamar and company, “Taylor Made Freestyle” is definitely the most controversial for a few reasons. There’s the back-to-back nature of it without a K.Dot response, the use of A.I. technology to replicate Snoop Dogg and Tupac’s voices, and the mentions of Taylor Swift to goad the Compton lyricist into clapping back. It’s all sounding very familiar to what might be the biggest and most effective troll in hip-hop’s entire history: 50 Cent. Moreover, the G-Unit mogul had some surprising words for this diss track that indicate he actually thinks it would be better if this all stopped here… at least, for The Boy’s opponents.

“[eyes emoji] OK in my professional expert opinion on this matter, leave this man alone,” 50 Cent shared on Instagram this weekend, with this caption on a clip of this diss seemingly talking about Drake himself. “I’ve seen this [film camera emoji] movie before, it will not end well. [shrug emoji] you disagree ok, [thinking face emoji] then where is your s**t at boy [angry face emoji],” concluding things by seemingly calling Kendrick Lamar out for not dropping a response track yet.

50 Cent’s Reaction To Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle”

Of course, if you assumed that 50 Cent would automatically ride for Drake when it comes to this diss track, then this apparent co-sign might not come as much of a surprise to you. Even if it is slightly vague, it’s not enough to back up any other interpretation, especially considering what Fif had to say about the previous diss track, “Push Ups.” “All you [ninja emoji]’s got smoked by a light skinned N***a,” he wrote as the caption of a snippet of the diss on Instagram. “LOL YALL BETTER GET HIGH AS A MOTHER FVCKER AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING!”

Meanwhile, this is a very interesting dynamic because Mr. Morale not only had a cameo role in the Queens icon’s series Power on top of performing together at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2022, but the former also spoke on some great advice he got from the latter in August of last year. Will they reconcile if there’s a great response or has 50 picked a side here for good? We’ll have to wait and see. DJ Akademiks Thinks Drake’s New Kendrick Lamar Diss (Almost) Seals The Deal

DJ Akademiks is one of Drake‘s biggest cheerleaders right now in his Kendrick Lamar beef, and one of the main sources of info that’s been sharing the latest updates on it. As such, it’s no surprise that he has some very kind things to say about the new “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which replicates Tupac and Snoop Dogg‘s voices with A.I. technology to taunt the Compton lyricist. Many of them, while obviously up for debate, are no less valid as a result, but the media personality also suggested that this is starting to define Drizzy as a winner more and more, yet he still wants K.Dot to fight back and drop a response ASAP. While he doesn’t outright say this in the series of tweets below, it’s hard to think that there’s much Kendrick could do to turn him against OVO based on his remarks.

“DRAKE ON THIS N***A HEADTOP,” DJ Akademiks began his tweet storm, which you can see continue further down below, on Friday night (April 19). “Drake drops AI assisted track to Give Kendrick Lamar a pep talk to actually engage in the Beef he STARTED. WE LIVE. Ps. I heard Drake wrote the AI verses for AI Tupac and AI Snoop Dogg. this next level. his Verse is clearly real and him tho. He wrote all 3 lmao. FIGHT BACK KENDRICK LAMAR.

“DRAKE pen ready…..” DJ Akademiks continued. “He writing verses for himself and AI characters. He might need to write one for Kendrick too. No more excuses… We aint tryna hear no response on ur album. DROP ASAP. Drake violating Kendrick Lamar ‘Now we gotta [wait] a f***in week, cuz Taylor Swift ya new Top and if you bout to drop.. she gotta approve. “Drake to Kendrick Lamar ‘The First one only took me only a hour or two… the next one about to bring out the coward in YOU,'” he went on. “Chris Brown dissed Quavo before Kendrick responded to Drake…. wtf… the light skin n***as keeping it hip hop. Day 7 with no Response from Kendrick Lamar yet.” Then, the former Everyday Struggle host posted Snoop Dogg’s apparent response to this whole debacle. Snoop Dogg Seems To React To Drake Using His AI Voice On Kendrick Lamar Diss

Drake went “Back To Back” on the rap game again, dropping yet another diss towards Kendrick Lamar on social media last night (Friday, April 19). Of course, probably the most notable aspect of this song is the fact that he used A.I. technology to replicate Tupac and Snoop Dogg‘s voices in order to rap from their perspectives and goad K.Dot into responding ASAP. A lot of folks are debating the points that Drizzy made here, the use of this tech, when we’ll get a response (if at all), and other factors. However, one question had fans particularly interested, predicting whether it would be a positive or negative moment for the Toronto superstar: what does Tha Doggfather think of this?

Well, even though Snoop Dogg published a video in the wee hours of Saturday, April 20 (and thus, ironically enough, seemingly reacted to a lot of smoke on 4/20), it didn’t really get us any closer to knowing what he thinks of it. “They did what?” he said in the clip below with a skeptical face. “When? How? Are you sure?” Then, the West Coast legend sighed and pointed to the “Death Row” stitching on his jacket. “Y’all have a good night. And to all… *laughs* Everybody calling my phone blowing me up. What the f**k, what happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed, good night.”

Snoop Dogg Seemingly Addresses Drake’s Newest Kendrick Lamar Diss: Watch

As such, this doesn’t really clarify whether Snoop Dogg knew of “Taylor Made Freestyle” before its IG release, whether he co-signed the track, or whether he’s supporting his fellow L.A. native in Kendrick Lamar. There are a few conflicting elements: shouting out Death Row (a sign of respect to himself and ‘Pac), laughing (seemingly enjoying the ruckus it’s caused), not really wanting to engage just yet (which could mean anything), and Aubrey Graham himself liking the post (a salute or a jab?). We also know that the Long Beach MC is good friends with Drake and that he’s on the fence about A.I. technology, sometimes co-signing it and sometimes being more critical, particularly about Tupac A.I. But he likely also has some deep appreciation for the Compton creative, so the disrespectful nature of this usage might not just be a point on the rap beef board for him.

Meanwhile, with the former TDE MC rumored to respond to this along with an album release in May, it seems like both artists are trying to set up goalposts that the other can’t even play in. Drake Uses A.I. Tupac & Snoop Dogg Verses To Diss Kendrick Lamar On “Taylor Made Freestyle”

After officially adding “Push Ups” to DSPs on Friday (April 19), Drake fired off another diss record at Kendrick Lamar on Saturday morning. “Taylor Made Freestyle” arrived with some unexpected special guest vocals.

Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” features artificial intelligence-generated voices of West Coast legends Snoop Dogg and the late 2Pac. Compton-bred MC Kendrick Lamar, aka K. Dot, has cited Pac as one of his biggest musical influences.

“They told me the spirit of Makaveli is alive in the n#### under five-foot-five, so it’s gotta be you. I would beef the whole f###### game. It was me and Snoop Dogg, have my f###### shirt off in the House of Blues,” the fake 2Pac raps on “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Artificial intelligence has become an unforeseen central part of the ongoing battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. TikTok personality Sy The Rapper released an A.I. version of a Kendrick Lamar diss track that fooled a lot of people on the internet.

So So Def label founder Jermaine Dupri expressed his issues with content creators/producers like Sy The Rapper using computer programs to make songs. Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” sparked mixed reactions on X.

For example, media figure Aaron Busby tweeted, “The s### Aubrey pulled is some s### I would have expected 6ix9ine to do.” Apple Music’s Karlie Hustle posted, “Dot has Drake using A.I. Death Row and Cole yanking music off streaming platforms. I think it’s clear who our King is.”

In contrast, Mimi The Music Blogger backed up Drake’s move by tweeting, “If Tupac had access to A.I. back in the day whilst beefing [with] Bad Boy, let me tell [you], he would use it.” The Joe Budden Podcast affiliate Emanny commented, “Drake playing the new age games while still showing he’s down to compete… gotta respect it!”

Drake Uses A.I. Tupac and Snoop Dogg Song to Press Kendrick Lamar

Drake uses A.I.-generated voices of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg to press Kendrick Lamar on his new song “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Drake Calls Out Kendrick Lamar in New Song Using A.I. Voices of Tupac Shakur and Kendrick Lamar

On Friday (April 20), Drake hit up Instagram to drop a new track aimed at Kendrick Lamar titled “Taylor Made Freestyle.” In a move that takes hip-hop into uncharted territories, the Toronto megastar tapped into A.I. technology to fuel his ongoing battle with K-Dot by featuring computer-generated verses from Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur on the song.

The song opens with a deep fake version of Tupac pleading with Kendrick Lamar to respond to Drake’s recently released diss track “Push Ups” for the sake of West Coast hip-hop.

“Kendrick, we need ya, the West Coast savior,” Tupac’s likeness can be heard in the opening lines of the new Drake song below. “Engraving your name in some hip-hop history if you deal with this viciously/You seem a little nervous about all the publicity/F**k this Canadian light skin, Dot.”

Subsequently, Snoop Dogg’s voice can be heard sharing similar sentiments through lyrics presumed to have been created using artificial intelligence.

A.I. Snoop raps: “Nephew, what the f**k you really ’bout to do?/We passed you the torch at the House of Blues and now you gotta do some dirty work/You know how to move, right?”

Drake Uses AI 2Pac To Diss Kendrick Lamar On “Taylor Made Freestyle”

Nobody saw this one coming. It was theorized by industry insiders that Drake would drop a second diss on Kendrick Lamar, much like he did with Meek Mill in 2015, but the hip-hop world has never heard a diss quite like “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Drake writes three verses, packed with insults and not-so-subtle jabs, but he only raps one of them in his regular voice. The other two are modified, using AI technology, to sound like Snoop Dogg and the late, great 2Pac! The same 2Pac that has been Lamar’s idol since childhood.

Drake unleashed “Taylor Made Freestyle” via Instagram on April 19. He doesn’t waste anytime using Lamar’s favorite rapper against him, as “2Pac” gets the first verse. The AI generated voice (with bars from Drake) sees “2Pac” consult Lamar on how to best defeat, well, Drake himself. “If you deal with this viciously, you see a little nervous about all the publicity,” the AI voice raps. “F**k this Canadian light skin guy, we need to know the west coast victory, man.” It’s a fascinating bit of reverse psychology, and it effectively allows Drake to sabotage the easy talking points that Lamar had at his disposal.

Drake Used AI To Turn K. Dot’s Heroes Against Him

The second verse goes to the AI generated voice of Snoop Dogg. The voice continues the disappointed tone set by AI 2Pac by urging Lamar to put together a response track ASAP. “Still you gotta show this f**king owl who’s boss on the west, now’s a time to really make a power move,” he raps. “‘Cause right now it’s looking like you writing out the gameplan with how to lose.” Another withering line from the Doggfather’s doppleganger is: “World is watching this chess game, but oh, you out of moves.”

After using Kendrick Lamar’s own heroes against him, Drake raps the third verse in his own voice. He relentlessly mocks the Compton rapper for taking so long to respond after starting the feud in the first place. “Since your tone changed a little, you not as enthused,” Drake asserts. “How are you not in the booth? It feel like you kinda removed.” The 6 God gets even more specific towards the end of the song, claiming that K. Dot needs “another week” to get himself together.

Kendrick Lamar has been saddled with AI disses in recent weeks, with fans being unsure of what’s real and what isn’t. Drake using AI tech to then diss him further is a chess move that Lamar will not be able to ignore.

Kanye West’s Remix Of Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” Is Allegedly In Adam22’s Hands

It goes without saying that the release of Future and Metro Boomin‘s track with Kendrick Lamar, “Like That,” has sparked a lot of controversy. On his verse, Kendrick took aim at both Drake and J. Cole, which has since resulted in response disses from both of them. Almost everyone has chimed in on the matter at this point, including No Jumper‘s Adam22, albeit in his own way.

Today, the podcaster took to Twitter/X to announce that he’s got something incredibly valuable in his possession. It’s to be noted, however, that it’s unclear whether or not it actually exists. According to him, it’s Kanye West’s remix of “Like That,” which he also says he’s been “forbidden” to leak. Check out his Tweet below.

Adam22 Claims He’s Been “Forbidden” To Leak Alleged Remix

“I have the Kanye ‘like that’ remix,” he wrote simply. “I have been forbidden to leak it at this time.” While plenty of commenters are calling cap on Adam’s claim, others think he might be telling the truth, and are urging him to drop it. Only time will tell whether or not he’s being honest, or just messing with his followers amid the viral feud the song sparked.

This isn’t the only time Adam22 inserted himself into the debacle, however. He also entered the chat about the real “big three” rappers prompted by Kendrick’s “it’s just big me” claim, revealing who he believes are the big three of hip-hop media. According to him, it’s himself, DJ Vlad, and DJ Akademiks. As expected, Joe Budden disagreed, and apparently Drake does too. According to Adam, Drizzy DMd him and told him he’s “got to give it to” Budden over Vlad. What do you think of Adam22 claiming to have Kanye West’s alleged remix of Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That”? Do you believe him?
