Travis Scott Surprise Drops “CHASE B REMIX” Of “FE!N,” But Fans Are Trashing It

Travis Scott easily had one of the most successful albums of 2023 period last year with his long-awaited fourth studio album UTOPIA. It went on to spawn some incredible and impactful songs that are well on their way to being some of the biggest of his career. “I KNOW ?” “MELTDOWN,” “TELEKENESIS,” and of course, “FE!N,” are among the big ticket cuts. To further establish the latter in his discography Travis Scott is bringing a CHASE B REMIX into the fold.

The remix’s title is a nod to fellow Houston, Texas DJ and producer CHASE B. He has a lot of close ties with Scott, crafting beats for some of his catalog. For this reimagining, the veteran is transforming the rage rap track into a dance record. With a version like this, the lyrics are at a minimum. In fact, Playboi Carti‘s verse is totally scrapped in the process. This is not the only major Scott track to receive a dance facelift. His 2016 mega hit “goosebumps” got HVME involved and that became a huge song in its own right.

However, it seems the “FE!N (CHASE B REMIX)” is not going to see the same success. Underneath the YouTube comments have not been glowing to say the least. “This the version Fein that a middle school dance would play,” one person comments. “Tiktok rizz party version,” another adds. “Bro dropped this and now he needs to pick it back up😭🙏🏼” Let us know what you think and check it out above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “FE!N (CHASE B REMIX)” by Travis Scott & CHASE B? Is this his best dance remix ever, why or why not? If not, do you agree that this should have not been remixed at all? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Quotable Lyrics:

In the night, come alive

Travis Scott Receives Praise From The Barbz After Scintillating “FTCU (SLEEZEMIX)” Verse

Travis Scott is easily one of the biggest artists in hip-hop right now. Overall, his album Utopia was a bit polarizing, however, it was still one of the biggest albums of 2023. Furthermore, he went on a tour that also did extremely well. Now, he is on a bit of a break, however, he is still very much in high demand. Even if his features have been hit or miss, artists know that his fanbase will consume anything he does. The artist streams incredibly well, and it has led to appearances on major albums and song remixes.

On Friday, Scott was on Nicki Minaj‘s SLEEZEMIX version of “FTCU.” This new version of the track also came with features from the likes of Chris Brown and Sexyy Red. You can listen to the official audio, below. As you will hear, Scott got his very own beat switch. This is kind of amusing when you consider how Scott is known for his beat switches and expensive-sounding production. Either way, he certainly delivers a solid performance here.

As you can see in the tweets below, fans were feeling Scott’s performance on the track. There was a whole lot of praise being dished out, especially from the Barbz. It felt like the Barbz used to hate Scott thanks to the Queen and Astroworld sales debacle. However, now, everyone has made up, and some solid music is being created. If you can get praise from the Barbz, it is an accomplishment in and of itself. Hopefully, Scott uses this verse to build momentum for more solo material.

Chris Brown Fans Go Nuts For His Verse On Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU” Remix With Travis Scott & Sexyy Red

Nicki Minaj has given “FTCU” the remix treatment with the help of Chris Brown, Travis Scott and Sexyy Red.

Minaj has been teasing the remix of her viral Pink Friday 2 cut since January and later revealed that the “Skee Yee” hitmaker would join her on the track alongside a “superstar or two.”

On Thursday (April 18), Nicki Minaj announced features from Travis Scott and Chris Brown before dropping the track at midnight on Friday (April 19).

The “FTCU” remix clocks in at almost four minutes and features a fresh verse from Minaj. However, Breezy’s verse whipped fans into a frenzy as the singer reminded everybody that he’s got bars, too.

While Brown has flexed his rapping chops many times over the years, newer supporters have only just cottoned on.

“Not y’all just finding out tonight that Chris Brown is a part time rapper because if he was full time a lot of ppl would be in the unemployment line,” one fan wrote.

“Chris Brown REALLY could and SHOULD do a rap album if he really wanted to. He been had bars,” another added, while a third said, “Was NOT expecting Chris Brown to have the best verse.”

Listen to “FTCU (SLEEZEMIX)” below and check out some other reactions at the end of the page.

Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown have collaborated on multiple songs over the years, beginning with “Right By My Side” back in 2012, while Sexyy Red joined forces with the NYC icon for “Pound Town 2” in 2023.

Meanwhile, Scott and Minaj both hopped on the remix to Farruko and Bad Bunny’s “Krippy Kush” in 2017.

Travis Scott Discusses His Frustrations Over Not Winning a Grammy

Travis Scott is opening up about how it feels having not won a Grammy.

Travis Scott Talks About Grammys Experience

On Thursday (April 18), Travis Scott stopped by LeBron James show The Shop alongside Ice Spice. He talked about his experience at the 2024 Grammys, where he once again lost Best Rap Album for his latest effort Utopia.

“I feel like sometimes things get stuck in like old ways,” Travis said. “I’m not saying there’s nothing wrong with people winning, I just think it needs to be like obvious understanding…like I sold out SoFi this year, right? I didn’t know I was the only rapper to do that but that’s crazy. When people go back in time like 10 years from now, when we’re not gonna remember this moment, they gotta go through the catalog to figure out what’s going on.”

He continued, “I think about this s**t like a club, there’s a Grammy club, right? And you got Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, these are real greats. Kanye West, Jay-Z, you know I’m at the motherf***ing, at the rope like, ‘yo!’ You hear their music in the party…You gonna have some n***as in there that you don’t even know these muthaf**kas.”

Travis Scott Notes Grammy’s Snub During 2024 Grammy Performance

Trav’s comments come after he mentioned his Grammy snub during his performance of “Fe!n” at the 2024 awards back in February. During a fiery run through of the Utopia track alongside Playboi Carti, Travis ad-libbed the phase: “They slept on me 10 times,” a reference to his 10 Grammy nominations and subsequent losses.

Utopia was nominated for Best Rap Album, losing out to Killer Mike’s Michael. La Flame had also been nominated for Best Rap Album back in 2019 for Astroworld, losing out to Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy.

Travis Scott Was Praising Caitlin Clark Years Before Her National Fame, NBA Trainer Recalls

NBA trainer Chris Brickley revealed on Instagram, last week, that Travis Scott was hip to Caitlin Clark’s talents on the basketball court long before most of the national media caught on. Brickley shared a text exchange he had with the rapper back in March 2021, in which Scott brought up Clark. “Man, Caitlin Clark has had a great college career but NOBODY was on her b4 my brodie @trvisXX [checkered flag emoji],” Brickley’s tweet read. “This was a text from March 24th, 2021 [two red exclamation emojis].” In the conversation, Scott wrote: “Caitlin Clark [six brain exploding emojis].”

Brickley posted the exchange before Clark and her Iowa teammates defeated UConn 71-69 on April 5 to advance to the National Championship game. They ended up falling to South Carolina in the title game on Sunday by a score of 87-75.

Ahead of the National Championship, Clark spoke against the idea that her legacy was on the line. Instead, she wants to be remembered for changing women’s basketball. “I don’t want my legacy to be, ‘Oh, Caitlin won X amount of games’ or ‘Caitlin scored X amount of points,’” she said. “I hope it’s what I was able to do for the game of women’s basketball, I hope it is the young boys and young girls that are inspired to play this sport or dream to do whatever they want to do in their lives. To me, for it to come down to 40 minutes, and for me to validate myself within 40 minutes, I don’t think that’s a fair assessment.”

Travis Scott Jumped On Caitlin Clark Bandwagon Years Ago According To NBA Trainer

Any folks who believe Travis Scott is a fair-weather Caitlin Clark fan has been sipping the Kool-Aid, or in this case, too many Cactis, according to celebrity and NBA trainer Chris Brickley.

In a recent Instagram post, Brickley revealed that La Flame actually was the first person to reach out to him about Iowa’s all-time leading scorer. Apparently, Scott has been watching Clark ball at Iowa University for years and even went as far as referring her to Brickley for her initial training session with him. Keep in mind, Brickley trains NBA stars such as LeBron James, Paolo Banchero and countless others. Earlier this year, the pair linked up at one of Clarks home games with the Hawkeyes and even flicked up during the occasion, so you know it’s real.

And ahead of the Final Four match up between U-Conn and Iowa, Brickley cleared the air whilst also giving his blessing to both athletes, who presumably have major WNBA careers ahead of them.

“I’ve seen people calling @travisscott a bandwagon @caitlinclark22 fan,” he wrote in part in the caption. “Well in 2021, he was the first person to ever text me or bring her up to me. He’s really been a day 1 Caitlin Clark Fan. Also S/O my Brodie for his new college apparel line with @lids @fanatics & @mitchellandness ‼️ It’s too fire!!! I’m def a big @caitlinclark22 fan and I’m excited to get in the gym with her but I’m also a big @paigebueckers fan, we’ve been grinding for years!!! TONIGHT GONNA BE A GREAT ONE!!”

Travis Scott Launches “First-Of-Its-Kind” NCAA Collection At LSU Campus

Travis Scott is a mogul in every sense of the word. The rapper/producer has excelled when it comes to broadening his influence outside of music, and his latest collaboration is proof. Scott launched a brand new NCAA collection that’s being touted as the “first-of-its-kind”, and he did so at LSU campus. The collection will offer designs based on 28 universities from around the nation, including Alabama, Georgia, Houston, and Louisiana State University.

The “Jack Goes Back To College” collection launched on April 3. Scott collaborated with three other notable brands to bring the collection to life, including Fanatics, Lids, and Mitchell & Ness. You can purchase “Jack Goes Back To College” items through each brand’s platforms, as well as Scott’s official website. The collection consists of t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, shorts, and more, and will priced between $68 and $160. The rapper commemorated the launch of the “Jack Goes Back To College” line by meeting with LSU students and signing merchandise. He even signed one student’s arm.

Scott’s New Collection Is Called “Jack Goes Back To College”

The rapper also posed with several notable LSU athletes, including Flau’jae Johnson, Jayden Daniels and Angel Reese. Scott even appeared on Reese’s Instagram Live, asserting that LSU is going to “make it to the league.” Scott masterminded the “Jack Goes Back To College” collection with businessman Michael Rubin, who was also on hand during the LSU unveiling. Rubin has been effusive in his praise for moguls like Scott and Tom Brady, as evidenced by an Instagram post he made back in May 2023.

“Thank you Tommy and Trav – what an amazing discussion,” he wrote. “Can’t wait to watch my guys kill it in football and in business.” Scott’s LSU stop was the first of what will ultimately be a three-stop tour. The rapper moved on to the University of Austin on April 4, where he participated in a business and entrepreneurship discussion with Rubin. The third and final stop on the “Jack Goes Back To College” mini-tour will be the bookstore at the University of Southern California.

Drake Shoots Fake Gunfire at Travis Scott Prop

Drake is seen in a video shooting fake gunfire at a Travis Scott prop during a recent performance, but he’s apparently been doing that.

Drake Shoots Fake Gunfire at Travis Scott Prop

On Monday (April 1), a video emerged online of Drake shooting fake gunfire at an inflated Travis Scott head during a fiery performance of the latter’s song “Meltdown.” The video caused fans to assume Drake did it due to some rumored tensions he may or may not have with Travis Scott over Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” verse. However, other fans who had been to previous Drake shows on his It’s All a Blur Tour – Big as the What? noted the 6 God had done it during every show.

Regardless, things could be tense between La Flame and Drizzy. Video emerged last week of Trav pushing for Future and Metro Boomin to debut Kendrick Lamar’s alleged Drake diss during their performance at Rolling Loud California. While Metro and Pluto ended up only playing a snippet of the track, it was enough to get fans thinking that maybe Travis Scott was beefing with Drake, too.

Kendrick Lamar Allegedly Has Full Drake Diss Ready to Go

Kendrick Lamar appeared on Future and Metro’s new album We Don’t Trust You, which dropped on March 22. On the track “Like That,” Kendrick appeared to take aim at Drake and J. Cole. Streamer Adin Ross said that’s likely just the beginning because he heard that Kendrick’s got a full-blown diss track for Drake locked in the vault.

“Last couple nights I’ve been going out,” Ross began. “And I bumped into somebody who’s very close on this Kendrick, Drake situation and there’s a bird on the street that Kendrick already has a full-on diss track ready to drop for Drake. Kendrick, I’m a fan of hip-hop and if you’re gonna diss Drake drop that s**t!”

J. Cole hasn’t made a peep since the song dropped, but Drake has made numerous subliminal digs at his enemies. Most notably on Instagram last week, Drake said he was “ready to go to war” against the opps if it came down to that.

Travis Scott Performs ‘My Eyes’ and ‘Fe!n’ on SNL

Travis Scott hit up Studio 8H and performed “My Eyes” and “Fe!n” with Playboi Carti on Saturday Night Live.

Travis Scott Rocks SNL with “My Eyes” and “Fe!n” Musical Performances

On Saturday (March 30), Travis Scott hit the stage at Saturday Night Live and performed two songs from his fourth studio album, Utopia.

For his first set, the rapper-producer performed his introspective track “My Eyes.” Dressed in all-black, La Flame kicked off his performance by laying on what appears to be a couch before rising to his feet and raps about the struggles he often faces with being a rap star. Travis places a lot of emphasis on visuals. So while he was performing, behind him was an X-ray image of him rocking the mic and appearing as if he was on fire.

For his second performance of the night, Travis Scott delivered an energetic performance of his hyper track “Fe!n” with his friend Playboi Carti. Shot with a shaky camera, Travis and Playboi spit their rebellious bars while weathering a dark storm complete with lighting bolts and a smoke machine.

Please Don’t Destroy Guys Get “Too High” While Partying With Travis Scott

Not only did Travis Scott perform on SNL, he also appeared in a funny sketch by comedy troupe Please Don’t Destroy who are SNL stars Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy. For their sketch, the trio are invited by the show’s host Ramy Youssef to hang out with Travis.

The guys reluctantly go with Youssef and once they jump in Travis’ limo, the madcap begins. Apparently, the trio got so high with Travis, their eyes begin to bug out and they start hallucinating in the club. Meanwhile, Youssef, who didn’t get high, is questioning why he wore shorts to the club. But don’t worry he fixed the problem by creating napkin pants.

The trio’s night ends with them at the hospital and the doctor informs them that they weren’t high after all because they only smoked CBD. The doctor added that they were suffering from a medical term called “being gigantic pu***ies.”
