Floyd Mayweather Ordered to Pay Major Child Support in Case Involving Former Dancer
A Nevada court has officially ordered Floyd Mayweather to pay nearly $1 million in back child support, alongside ongoing monthly payments exceeding $32,000. This legal mandate follows the formal establishment of Mayweather as the father of a four-year-old girl, identified in court records as Price Moorehead. The ruling, which surfaced in March 2026, represents a significant development in a protracted legal battle that has unfolded in Las Vegas.
The court set the monthly financial obligation at $32,850, while calculating the total arrears at $933,050. The case was initiated by Paige Moorehead, a former employee at Mayweather’s Girl Collection strip club. Moorehead sought to establish paternity in 2023, several years after the child’s birth in December 2021. According to her filings, the two shared a personal relationship that concluded abruptly once she disclosed her pregnancy.
Legal Developments and Financial Enforcement
The proceedings included allegations that Mayweather pressured Moorehead regarding the pregnancy and subsequently terminated her employment. While these specific claims were not resolved through trial testimony, the court ultimately issued a default judgment. Records indicate that despite being served with legal notices and directed to undergo a DNA test, Mayweather did not participate in the court-mandated process.
To ensure the fulfillment of these financial obligations, the judge noted that only partial payments totaling approximately $151,000 had been made to date. Consequently, the court has authorized a lien of up to $2 million on a California property linked to the boxing legend’s assets, providing a mechanism to enforce repayment if the debt remains outstanding.
Mayweather’s Growing Schedule and Legal Commitments
This ruling arrives as Floyd Mayweather continues to maintain a busy schedule of exhibition bouts. He is currently slated to face Mike Zambidis in Greece on June 27, followed by a highly anticipated rematch with Manny Pacquiao on September 26. Additionally, an exhibition involving Mike Tyson is reportedly in the works for later this year. These professional engagements have brought renewed public and legal scrutiny to his financial responsibilities.
