Authorities have taken a 27-year-old man into custody following an alleged break-in at a Hidden Hills estate owned by media personality Kim Kardashian. The incident, which occurred this past Sunday, resulted in the suspect allegedly stealing a vehicle from the premises for a joyride.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the incident took place at a property currently undergoing extensive renovations. Law enforcement was alerted to the scene shortly before 4 p.m. after a security guard stationed at the residence reported a burglary in progress. Officials have clarified that neither Kardashian nor her four children were present at the home during the time of the breach.

According to investigators, the suspect gained entry to the gated property through a side door. Once inside the perimeter, the individual was observed loading various items into a vehicle. While initial reports speculated that the car belonged to the reality television star, the sheriff’s department later determined that the stolen vehicle actually belonged to a staff member working at the site. The suspect was apprehended by responding deputies shortly after taking the car for a joyride.
