Renni Rucci’s Boyfriend Blacc Zacc Seeks Bond in RICO Case
South Carolina rapper Blacc Zacc, legally known as Zachary Chapman, has officially moved for pretrial release in a high-stakes RICO case currently pending in the District of South Carolina. In a 16-page Motion for Bond/Pretrial Release filed on May 4, Chapman’s legal team is seeking a formal detention hearing under the Bail Reform Act, arguing that the court should prioritize release unless the government can provide sufficient evidence to justify continued detention.
The defense filing places significant weight on Chapman’s deep-rooted community ties and personal history. Counsel highlighted his lifelong residency in Columbia, South Carolina, and emphasized his role as a father and partner. The motion specifically notes his relationship with rapper and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Renni Rucci, stating that the couple shares a child and is currently expecting another, underscoring his desire to return to his family.
To mitigate concerns regarding flight risk and public safety, the defense has proposed a comprehensive package of release conditions. These include a $250,000 secured bond, mandatory home detention with GPS monitoring, third-party supervision, strict travel restrictions, and a total prohibition on contact with any alleged co-conspirators or access to weapons.

A hearing regarding the motion is scheduled for May 13 in Greenville before U.S. District Judge Kevin McDonald. Chapman has remained in federal custody since his October 2025 arrest, which stemmed from a sweeping federal indictment involving racketeering conspiracy charges.
Prosecutors allege that Blacc Zacc founded and directed Dirty Money Entertainment, characterizing the organization as a multi-state criminal enterprise involved in drug trafficking and violent acts. The indictment claims the group operated between 2020 and 2025, utilizing various South Carolina properties as hubs to facilitate the movement of narcotics through airports across multiple states.
The government’s case further alleges that Chapman orchestrated retaliatory violence, including a murder-for-hire plot linked to the October 2021 death of a rival. Additional charges include the use of interstate communications to facilitate criminal activity and conspiracy to commit robbery affecting interstate commerce.
