Rockim Williamson is all about goals in “Alignment/HIM”

Emerging rapper/songwriter Rockim Williamson has been releasing music since the 6th grade and has honed his skill in his hometown of Detroit, MI. He was recently named an Award-Winning Artist (The Detroit Entrepreneur) and contributes his talents to fundraisers & commemorative settings like MLK events, Gun Violence, and Homelessness. This makes it possible for Rockim to literally practice what he preaches as well as advocate for social change and injustices.

His latest release titled “Alignment/HIM” is a sombre and heartfelt tune that showcases his knack for penning real-time issues with his own experiences as a young black man working his way out of the rubble. He delivers with a smooth laidback flow and garnishes the beat with insightful rhyme schemes and aspirational lines that could inspire listeners to get out and chase their dreams. The production is brilliant too and the energetic chorus adds a different vibe and gives the song an edgy punch.

Rockim has shared stages with SuperDuperkyle and BlackBear, perform the National Anthem for Oakland University’s MLK Keeper of the Dream, and recently completely show out for Soaring Eagles Arts Beats and Eats R&B Stage.
