In this section, we will not discriminate but rather highlight some of the creative visuals that pop up on our radar.

Scorcher ft Akelle (WSTRN) – “Recall”

We open up this week’s top 5 visuals with the help of Scorcher and Akelle (WSTRN). Their new collaboration titled “Recall” comes equipped with a solid visual representation. The heartfelt track sees Scorcher detail the dynamics of the prison system and its effects on himself. Over the smooth backdrop laced by Prgrshn, he gives an honest view and his experiences while Akelle brings a solid melodic patois-infused chorus to tie it all together.

The visual is quite engaging too and makes use of several performance shots of both artists doing their thing as they find the meaning of life in the prison yard. The visual ends on a good note as Scorcher is freed and finds his way to normalcy outside the brick walls.

Sargeant X Comrade – “Stages (Single)”

Sargeant X Comrade‘s “Stages ” is a reflective track that dives into the concept of time and serves as the 2nd single off the 2021 Sargeant X Comrade album The Elephant In The Room dropping December 3rd, 2021 on Mo’ Gravy Records. Over a somber texture lead singer, Yolanda Sargeant delivers a smooth melodic run with a carefree tone as she looks through the passing of time and implores us to focus on the bigger picture. The video by Y’know Visuals splices several clips from different time period to represent the changes observed in humanity over time. It’s quite engaging and ominous as well.

T.R.3 and Bobo.The.Outlaw shows us the backend of the  “Demon Business.” The production here is dark and trippy and is ripe with vivid lyrics and fiery performances. The visual is a blend of performance shots with motifs that have cryptic aesthetics. There are not many changes here but a whole lot of cut scenes sure make it engaging.

Sadistik x Kno – “Neptune Skin”

Sadistik and producer Kno have teamed up for a new collaboration titled “Neptune Skin.” A moody track bolstered by evocative lyrics and graphic imagery. The visual is out of the box as well and sees Sadistik as a lost space traveler who is lost on an unknown planet.

C. Young‘s “Santiago Came Home” is a celebratory track that explores the rapper’s triumph through the adversities laid before him. Over a rousing backdrop, he delivers fiery performances ripe with unapologetic verses.
