There's been something going on between Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean ever since Kendrick famously did his thing on Sean's track "Control".
Kendrick seemed to be jabbing at Sean on a couple of his more recent tracks, "The Heart Pt. 4" and "Humble". (Sean seemed to hit K.Dot on "No More Interviews "and the Khaled track "On Everything".)
Now a snippet has emerged in which Kendrick is clearly coming for Sean.
“I think his false confidence got him inspired
I can’t make them respect you baby, it’s not my job
You’re finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme (boi)
Cute ass raps, get your puberty up”
Given Sean's debut album is Finally Famous and he's had a string of high profile girlfriends, these bars, which sound like the could have been on "The Heart Pt. 4" leave no doubt.
Why do you think Kendrick ended up easing up on Sean?
