TikTok Creator Explains Making Viral A.I.-Generated Kendrick Lamar Diss Record

The internet went into a frenzy after an alleged diss track by Kendrick Lamar spread across social media. However, a TikTok producer has claimed he created the record with artificial intelligence technology.

Sy The Rapper insists the Kendrick Lamar-voiced song dissing Drake is fake. The content creator shared a video of how he supposedly put together the K. Dot imitation.

“I saw people actually believing it so here’s the truth, it’s 100% A.I.,” Sy The Rapper wrote on Tik Tok. On Instagram, he also posted, “I saw people believing it and I’m like hol up this gettin outta hand so here’s the truth.”

Speculation about the artificial track making the rounds being authentic got boosted by admitted Drake supporters like Mal of New Rory And Mal. On Monday (April 15), the podcaster tweeted, “And that’s definitely not A.I.”

The Drake versus Kendrick Lamar feud went into overdrive in recent weeks following the release of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” single. Lamar used that chart-topping collaboration to take direct shots at Drake and J. Cole.

A track titled “Push Ups” by Drake leaked to the internet on April 13. Despite the OVO leader never officially releasing the song, “Push Up” serves as a response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” bars. Drake also fired back at other foes like Metro Boomin and Rick Ross.

DaBaby Says “I Better Be” Big 3 With New Freestyle Over Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That”

DaBaby is staking his claim in rap’s Big 3 after dropping a new LA Leakers freestyle amid weeks of explosive Hip-Hop competition.

On Tuesday (April 16) Power 106 dropped the Cleveland native’s latest freestyle with DaBaby floating over a pair of viral tracks. He paid tribute to Sexyy Red on her birthday, rapping over her latest hit “Get It Sexyy,” before switching to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That.”

K. Dot sparked a frenzy after dissing Drake and J. Cole on Future and Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping album We Don’t Trust You.

While Cole questioned who held the top spot out of the “Big Three” on “First Person Shooter,” Lamar’s “Like That” dismissed the notion of a top trio altogether.

“M######### the big three, n####, it’s just big me,” he rapped.

However, DaBaby, who reached out to L.A. Leaker’s host Justin Credible at 6 A.M. to get on the show, feels his latest freestyle earns him a place among the best.

“Y’all done brought the demon out,” host Justin Credible exclaimed. “They talking ‘Big Three,’ there might be some openings in there.”

DaBaby responded, “Come on now, I better be one of the contenders,” before adding, “Easy kill. We do this s### once a week, you n##### make me mad. Believe that.”

Clips began circulating online, and DaBaby was soon trending as fans reacted to his new freestyle. Many referenced the backlash he faced after making homophobic comments at Rolling Loud in 2021.

The controversy sparked a slump in streaming numbers and ticket sales, and DaBaby was dropped from concert lineups and lost deals and endorsements.

Fans Reacts To DaBaby’s New Freestyle

“DaBaby might be the first rapper to get thrown in a black hole and climb back out. They love ya then they hate ya then they love ya again lol,” one fan wrote.

“DaBaby a d####### but I’ll never lie and say the n#### can’t rap,” added another.

Check out some of the other reactions to DaBaby’s new freestyle below.

TikTok Producer Reveals How He Made Kendrick Lamar’s AI Diss

The truth is out. The Kendrick Lamar diss that’s been floating around the internet the last few days has been confirmed to be AI generated. There was widespread confusion as to who leaked Lamar’s alleged response to Drake and J Cole, but it turns out the “diss” track was made by a producer named Syd The Rapper. Syd revealed the truth via TikTok on April 16, and admitted he was surprised the AI track fooled so many listeners.

Syd proved the claim that he created the AI diss by showing TikTok users the music file on his computer. The artist explained that he wanted to make the track to see how convincing the AI technology could be. It turned out to be far more convincing than he expected. “I ain’t gonna lie, I psyched myself,” Syd stated. “I thought it was gonna sound fake, I thought people was gonna be able to tell it was fake. People think it’s actually real.” Syd went on to give the AI diss an official title, “One Shot,” before assuring fans that Kendrick Lamar had nothing to do with its creation.

Kendrick’s “Diss” Was Made Without His Involvement

Syd The Artist voiced his support for Lamar, and asserted that the real diss record will be much better than what he created. “I just wanna come out for the record and say that it’s AI,” he added. “That’s not Kendrick’s response. I know Kendrick’s gonna come harder than that. I just couldn’t get too disrespectful cuse I ain’t in that beef.” The artist closed out his confession on a lighter note by noting that Drake heard the AI diss. “I seen Drake heard it and commended, and he laughed at it,” Syd said, while also laughing.

Syd’s reveal shuts down the theories that some industry insiders had about Lamar’s track being “bad.” Daylyt, a rapper who appeared on J Cole’s Might Delete Later, tweeted that he knew the leak was AI. He even clapped back at Mal of New Rory And Mal Podcast for suggesting it was real. “Like I said 100000% ai,” Daylyt wrote. “@thisisrory tell mal I said put his account on mut [sic] for a few days lol.”

The good news is that Lamar’s real response has yet to see the light of day. The bad news is that AI is getting so advanced that fans can no longer tell what’s real and what’s not.

Lupe Fiasco and Aye Verb Debate Over Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s Rap Skills

On Monday (April 15), Lupe Fiasco hit up X, formerly known as Twitter, for a friendly hip-hop debate with St. Louis rapper Aye Verb on the platform’s Spaces. At one point during the conversation, the two respected MCs place the focus on their peers Kendrick Lamar and Drake, who are currently embroiled in a widely publicized rap beef. While Lupe praises Kendrick’s live performance skills, the Chicago spitter says he believes that Drizzy is the better rapper overall.

“Drake or Kendrick?” Aye Verb asks in the audio clip below to which Lupe quickly replies, “Drake.”

Aye Verb then asks: “Is it by a long shot?”

“Not really,” Lupe Fiasco explains. “Drake got bars, which you know. You know I ain’t cappin’ when I say that. So, I would give it to Drake. I think Kendrick’s a better technically skilled performer, but I don’t think he’s a better rapper.”

Is Kendrick Lamar Diss Real or Fake?

On Monday afternoon, three days following Drake’s leaked diss, an alleged Kendrick Lamar song leaked on social media that finds the Compton, Calif. rapper going at J. Cole and Drake.

“Stop wasting time let’s get the show on the road,” Kendrick raps. “N***as was ignoring and keep disses and when they get that’s why they entertained it as sneak disses/ And now that it’s direct it’s leaked disses from burner pages and all/Insecure behavior from n***as y’all call gods/I know that you were sensitive an emphasis on lame/Seeking validation from rap critics slandering names/Legacy forever cemented I will reign/The next move make your best move its detrimental/Y’all get Glocks when you see K-Dot/Cargo sweaters just to see K-Dot/I came with a full clique but only need one shot/No big 3 this dynamic is uno K-Dot.”

However, the song, which was not released on official streaming services, is speculated to have been created by A.I. Kendrick Lamar has yet to acknowledge the song.

Drake Confirms Authenticity Of Kendrick Lamar Diss With Metro Boomin Dig

Drake is taunting Metro Boomin with a meme referencing a dig at his former collaborator from his recent diss track.

The Canadian megastar sent shockwaves through the Hip-Hop community with his recent diss “Drop and Give Me 50.” The track was in response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” and other shots on Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You album.

While there were doubts about whether it was real or an A.I. version, Drake seemingly confirmed its authenticity on his Instagram Story Monday (April 15.)

He posted the audition scene from the 2002 movie Drumline, alluding to his jab at Metro on his recent diss. However, thanks to the magic of A.I., Drake had Metro Boomin play the drums in place of Nick Cannon.

In “Drop and Give Me 50,” Drizzy tells the producer to “shut your hoe ass up and make some drums.”

Last month, Metro Boomin denied fans’ claims that he needed to diss Drake to score a No. 1 album.

“Album was going #1 regardless,” Metro wrote on Instagram in April. “There was gonna be a #1 single regardless. Get off dick that man don’t even know y’all.”

Metro and Future followed up the chart-topping project with the second installment of their three-part series, We Still Don’t Trust You.

The project features J. Cole, who backed out of “the big three” war by walking back his Kendrick Lamar diss “7 Minute Drill.” Other guest appearances include The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky, who also fired at Drake in their verses.

Lupe Fiasco: Kendrick Lamar Not A Top. 100 Rapper, Says “Control” Was “Just Aite”

Lupe Fiasco believes he’s a better lyricist than Kendrick Lamar and claims K. Dot’s “Control” verse was overrated.

The recent diss tracks and competitive energy consuming the Hip-Hop community has Lupe ready to hit the studio to wage war. He was dragged into the conversation recently following J. Cole’s apology to Kendrick Lamar as Lupe Fiasco has also walked back comments he made about Lamar on social media.

On Monday evening (April 15), Lupe joined a Spaces conversation hosted by St. Louis battle rap legend Aye Verb, where he shared his take on K. Dot.

According to Lupe Fiasco, although Kendrick Lamar is a “great rapper” and performer who makes “great albums,” he is not a remarkable lyricist. Furthermore, he said he could name one hundred better wordsmiths.

“I think what he does for the culture is amazing, like I love him to death,” he shared. “I do not think that he’s like this amazing lyricist though and if I had to put a Top. 100 list together…”

Lupe said the first sixty slots were underground MCs unknown to the mainstream. However, K. Dot still doesn’t get a mention in his Top. 100 rankings.

Listen to the clip below and check out the full conversation at the end of the page.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, Lupe Fiasco let his peers know he’s with all the smoke and is waiting for a rapper to challenge him to a battle so he can send them to rap oblivion.

He paused his Coachella set to warn anybody thinking about calling him out.

“Hear my clearly when I say this, and I mean this at the bottom of my heart,” Lupe declared. “When it comes to this art, and I quote, I will battle any muthafuckin rapper anywhere, any muthafuckin time.”

He continued, “I don’t give a f### how many records you sold. I don’t give a f### how many awards you have. If you want smoke, I swear on my muthafuckin soul, I will walk through n#####. I will chew up n#####. I will body muthafuckas.”

Fans shared clips of his challenge online and Lupe Fiasco soon went viral and was in the Top. 10 trending topics on X (Twitter) on Monday evening (April 15).

Lupe Fiasco clarified his remarks on X Monday evening (April 15), replying to praise from veteran British producer and DJ Semtex.

“Had to add my little comment to the current narrative Semtex,” he explained. “Folks been sideways on socials and in the media at me all week like I won’t casually rap these boys and girls into the shadow realm…either spawn in and smoke it up or let me finish watching these cybertruck reviews in peace.”

Lupe Fiasco Claims Drake Is A Better Rapper Than Kendrick Lamar

Lupe Fiasco has never been afraid to share his opinion. The Chicago emcee has plenty of hot takes, and he delivers them the same passion as the rhymes on his albums. His latest take, however, may baffle the same genre purists who hold him to such a high standard. During a recent chat with Ae Verb, the “Paris, Tokyo” writer declared that Drake was a better rapper than his Big Three nemesis, Kendrick Lamar. He also claimed that Lamar is not as “dangerous” as his reputation suggests.

The clip currently circulating online starts with Ae Verb asking whether Lupe Fiasco preferred Drake or Kendrick Lamar. Lupe did not hesitate in naming the 6 God, and his reasoning was simple: he has bars. “You know I ain’t capping when I say that,” he added. “I would give it to Drake. I think Kendrick’s a better technically skilled performer but I don’t think he’s a better rapper.” The conversation shifted to Lamar, at which point Lupe asserted that the Compton superstar was slightly overrated when it came to his battle credentials. “So you ain’t never heard Kendrick and felt like he was one of the most dangerous rapper?”, Ae Verb asked. Lupe’s response was swift: “No.”

Lupe Fiasco Beefed With Kendrick Lamar In 2018

Lupe Fiasco has had quite a bit to say about Kendrick Lamar as of late. When their 2018 feud resurfaced in the wake of the Drake and K. Dot disses, Lupe made it very clear that he did not bend the knee to the younger artist. “I wasn’t apologizing to him lol,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I was sorry about the entire shindig because it was such a waste of time and energy… Keep my name clean. I fear no rapper of any kind or on anytime… K Dot solid but y’all need to chill.”

Lupe kept the aggression intact for his recent Coachella appearance. In the middle of his set, he called out every other rapper in the game and vowed to “smoke” them if they wanted beef. “I don’t give a f**k how many records you sold,” he promised the crowd. “If you want smoke, I swear on my muthaf**kin soul I will walk through n***as. I will chew n***as up. I will body muthaf**kas.”

Drake Reacts To Kendrick Lamar Diss While Fans Debate It’s Authenticity

Diss tracks have been leaking left and right. An unfinished version of Drake‘s single “Push Ups” leaked hours before the official version on April 13. A few hours later, Rick Ross‘ diss, “Champagne Moments,” was previewed on a DJ Akademiks live stream. The trend continued on Monday, April 15, as a leaked snippet of a Kendrick Lamar diss surfaced. The leak was only a minute and a half long, and a certain Aubrey Drake Graham was not impressed with what he heard.

The leak was met with skepticism, as many theorized that the bars on the diss were not up to Lamar’s standard, and therefore generated by AI. Some, however, pushed against this notion and put forth the idea that Lamar’s response was simply bad. OVO Hush was one of these people. OVO Hush, a trusted member of Drake’s camp, posted the alleged Lamar diss on Instagram and a brutal comment. “When you find out this is real,” he warned. “Don’t forget how trash it was as an AI.” Drake then commented on Hush’s post with a single crying emoji. Check out the DJ Akademiks screenshot below.

Drake Laughed At K. Dot’s Leaked Response

Despite widespread attempts to determine the authenticity of the leak, there remains no clear answer. OVO Hush suggests that fans got to hear the first part of an otherwise underwhelming (and real) diss. The same goes for Mal of the New Rory And Mal Podcast, who tweeted: “And that’s definitely not AI.” Others, like Mickey Factz and DJ Dahi, are convinced that the world has not heard a real K. Dot song. Dahi, who has collaborated with Lamar multiple times, went as far as to say that artists need Google authenticators to validate their involvement.

The untitled leak features a booming instrumental and bars aimed at both Drake and J. Cole. Lamar’s flow is less catchy than it was on “Like That,” and the recurring flatline sound integrated into the beat gives the whole song a melodramatic, “I Need A Doctor” by Dr. Dre vibe. Lamar’s camp has not issued any statements regarding the leak. Until they do, fans will have to continue to speculate regarding its authenticity.

Is It Really Kendrick Lamar Taking Cheap Shots At J. Cole In Alleged Leaked Diss?

As the current rap beef heats up, following disses from Rick Ross, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Drake, a rumored leaked diss track from Kendrick Lamar has fans questioning if the shots sent are real or generated by A.I.

In case you need a re-cap, Future and Metro Boomin’s We Still Don’t Trust You album re-ignited the feud with Drake due to a litany of subliminals. Following J. Cole’s retraction of his K. Dot diss, “7 Minute Drill,” Rick Ross appeared to take issue with Drake’s alleged leaked diss track, which addressed the entire situation, including the MMG and OVO rapper’s fallout, and delivered a diss track dismantling Drake’s appearance— his nose, specifically.

Now, in a somewhat surprising turn of events, a rumored Kendrick Lamar diss has hit the internet, and within hours, has sent social media into shambles. But whether the bars truly originated from K. Dot’s pen has been a point of emphasis, despite the nature of inflammatory lyrics themselves. No matter if the diss record was A.I.-generated or not, some of the one liners are worth a second examination to prove authenticity and or just to gawk at the pettiness.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

One of the most unsavory bars arrives within the first 16 of the verse as Kendrick Lamar (or A.I.) for that matter, raps, “I dominated your favorite rapper you idolize/My silence is enough to make n###as apologize.

“Retracted statements Cole saying he regretting his lyrics/MC’s die when you revived the competitive spirit/How to kill a rapper, let em do it to theyself, self inflicted career wounds they fear helped.”

The lyrics continue: “One rap n###a dead laid on the floor, and I didn’t have throw any bullets for him to go/Now that we got that out the way it’s one more to go/Stop wasting time, let’s get this show on the road/N###as was ignoring repeat disses, and when they did respond they entertained it as weak disses/And now that it’s direct it’s leaked disses from burner pages and all. Insecure behavior from n###as y’all call gods.”

In a case like this, where does one draw the line? Though it’s almost certainly AI-generated, does this diss move the needle in any one direction or the other, in favor of an artist claiming the top spot within the Big Three. Or is the track purely irrelevant as is? Does the release of this record mount even more pressure on Kendrick Lamar to drop a response? Does the fact Drake’s diss was leaked and not actually released put The 6 God at a disadvantage?

Honestly, I have no f###ing clue. So y’all gonna have to find out on the next episode of Hip-Hop Ball Z! Rest in peace Akira Toriyama.
