Rick Ross Trolls Drake Over Millie Bobby Brown Sexual Grooming Accusations

Many Hip-Hop fans wondered what angles Drake’s opponents would take as part of the ongoing battles playing out. Rick Ross decided to reference the sexual misconduct rumors against the Canadian rapper as an attack.

Drake and Rick Ross have been going back and forth on songs and social media for over a week. On Thursday (April 18), Ross used his Instagram Stories to take a shot at Drizzy by touching on grooming accusations.

“That right there. I know Drake would’ve loved that like Millie Bobby Brown. He would have been all in them DMs,” Ross stated while promoting his upcoming car show on June 1.

In 2018, then-14-year-old Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown disclosed she and Drake would send “I miss you” texts to each other. That admission led to backlash over a 31-year-old man regularly conversing with a teenage girl.

Drake’s text conversations with then-17-year-old singer Billie Eilish also raised concerns for some people. The OVO Sound co-founder addressed the Millie Bobby Brown grooming accusations on his “Another Late Night” song.

“Weirdos in my comments talking ‘bout some Millie Bobby, look. Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’,” Drake rapped on the For All The Dogs track featuring Lil Yachty.

Chance The Rapper Uses Birthday Wish As Call-To-Action To Free Young Thug

Chance The Rapper is celebrating his birthday in an unconventional way by using his grand solar return and social media channels as a platform to petition for Young Thug’s prison release.

On Tuesday (April 16), Chance shared a post on Instagram featuring presumably a throwback video of he and Thug calmly chopping it up stamped with the text “Top 2 DOA [Dead or Alive].” In the caption of the post the “No Problems” rapper revealed that his sole wish for his birthday was for Thug to be able to be with his family as the ongoing YSL RICO trial continues.

“For my birthday I just wish my brother was home with his family,” Chance wrote in part.

As Chance continued, he appeared to criticize the trial, which has been plagued by a number of stoppages and misconduct and subsequently added to Thug’s time behind bars.

“This circus of a trial has had him in custody for over a year and with all the legal errors, jury misconduct and conflicts of interest by the state he deserves to at the very least fight this from home,” he wrote.

Over the years, Chance The Rapper and Young Thug have built out a stealthy yet healthy collaborative footprint. Likely the duo’s most notable collaboration arrived on Chance The Rapper’s fan-favorite mixtape, Acid Rap, in the form of the track “Mixtape” featuring Lil Yachty. In 2021, Young Thug added a guest verse on for the Chicago native’s Instagram EP track “Instagram Song 8” and prior to that, they joined forces for the 2017 track “Big B’s.” Thug also notably made a cameo in the official music video for Chance The Rapper’s Grammy-Award winning hit, “No Problem featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, which included cameos from DJ Khaled and Boosie Badazz, among others.

Chance The Rapper’s appeal for Young Thug’s freedom arrives amid a tumultuous shift in the YSL RICO trial after the full list of 200-plus witnesses was released and it was confirmed Gunna would not be taking the stand against his rap mentor.

Additionally, along with the judge presiding over the trial threatening to schedule court dates on the weekend, a witness, whose identity remains confidential for their safety, accused an investigator identified by his last name of Hamilton of engaging in sexual harassment.

Rick Ross Demands Drake Apologize & Confess To Having  BBL, Drizzy Responds

Drake and Rick Ross are still going at it!

The MMG honcho and the OVO boss have taken the beef to social media and are exchanging shots via Instagram Stories. Rozay doubled down on accusing Lil Yachty of being Drizzy’s ghostwriter before addressing Drake directly.

“I’m the bigger person, I’m a boss. Drake, I’m gonna give you the opportunity to apologize,” Ross said in a video. “First and foremost you gotta admit, confess you got your nose, your nose reduction. And confess you got a BBL. And I understand, I know what it’s like having those f#### on your stomach and that sweat being under there, you ain’t wanna do that, you wanted to just [say] f### a gym, n####. … You could go get it done, and you did it. Just confess.”

Ross also urged Drake to upgrade his private jet, suggesting it was made in 1978, and told him to help out Birdman. Ross mocked Birdman over the weekend over his “Stunna Island” mansion.

“White boy, white boy, BBL Drizzy, I got a question,” he said. “I saw you posted you got more money than Ricky Rozay, and let’s assume you did. Well your best friend Birdman, his house went into foreclosure five years ago. You done watched that man struggle them five years and ain’t get that man a mansion? ‘Cause if you got more money than Rozay, what’s another 50 million, white boy?”

Rick Ross then gave Drake a 48-hour deadline to buy Birdman another mansion. “The countdown has begun,” he declared. “N#### your nose fake, your stomach fake, you don’t write raps, your biggest homie’s in foreclosure.”

Drake eventually fired back at Ross, responding to a post about selling his last home in the United States for $88 million.

“Look how I talk to this turkey,” Drake wrote, sharing his DM to Ross. “You shoulda just asked for another feature.”

He teased Ross saying, “Imagine you having 88 million to spend on a crib,” before mocking his home.

“Your lot 40000 square feet my crib 40000 square feet Leonard. And you put a wrap on your timeshare jet that s### coming off when it’s the other people turn to fly,” he added.

Drake then posted an aerial view of Ross’ Star Island mansion in Miami. “Rick you sandwiched in (which is on brand) cause the vacant land not yours,” he wrote. “This s### the Miami starter pack you living in a content creator crib.”

Rick Ross clapped back at Drake for sending him paragraphs to read and continuing the ghostwriter accusations.

“Ain’t nothing wrong with talking s###, but Drake, you gotta keep it at one line,” Ross replied. That s### you doing gotta take 20 minutes. One line or don’t DM me no more. … I know why Drake don’t do what I do when I talk and he don’t talk, he’ll take a picture and post ’cause he got ghostwriters for his f###### captions.”

Cash Cobain Claims That Drake Reference Track Is AI Generated

Cash Cobain is the latest artist to get dragged into the Drake wars. A reference track for the Drake song “Calling For You” has leaked online with Cobain rapping the lead vocal. Cobain was listed on the official track as a co-producer, but the leak suggests that the artist also had a bigger hand in the songwriting. This is the second time a Drake reference has leaked in the last week, with the first being “Jumbotron S**t Poppin.” It looks like the “Calling For You” diss may be a fake, however.

Cobain posted an image of Allen Iverson to his IG and Twitter on April 16. There was no mention of the leak, but it didn’t take much for fans to tie the image of Iverson in to the reference track. Iverson is known for his fake behind the back move, so Cobain is confirming that the leaked “Calling For You” is phony. Cobain and Drake are friends, and Cobain has even championed the Canadian rapper during interviews. “Don’t think Drake not tuned in,” he said on TikTok. “He definitely tuned in. Especially with the New York sound. I feel like every sound he tuned in with.”

Cash Cobain Shut Down The Leak With An Allen Iverson Photo

Drake has been hounded by reference track allegations for a decade. The rapper’s pen game has been a talking point ever since Quentin Miller‘s reference for “10 Bands” leaked in 2015. He addressed the issue during a profile in The Fader, claiming that it does not reflect a lack of involvement in the writing process. “I need, sometimes, individuals to spark an idea so that I can take off running,” he stated. “I don’t mind that. And those recordings—they are what they are. And you can use your own judgment on what they mean to you. I don’t know if I’m really here to even clarify it for you.”

Despite Drake’s clarification, the ghostwriting rumors persist. Rick Ross recently implied that he wrote Drake’s verse on the 2018 smash “Sicko Mode.” The MMG honcho also stated that Drake uses writers when posting comments and insults on social media. The latter claim was made after Drake posted a screenshot of a DM exchange in which he mocked Ross’ (lack of) wealth.

Drake Clowns Rick Ross In Leaked DM: “You Not Rozay Anymore”

It keeps getting uglier. Drake and Rick Ross were one of the most reliable duos in hip-hop for a decade, but now they’re sworn enemies. The two men swapped diss tracks in the last week, and Ross has kept the mockery going by posting IG Live videos and DMs between him and the 6 God. Ross sent Drake a message with the caption: “Look how I talk to this turkey. You shoulda just asked for another feature.” The MMG boss was not so quick to share Drake’s response, however.

DJ Akademiks posted a screenshot of the aforementioned Ross message with Drake’s response on his Instagram, and the response was brutal. The Toronto rapper dismantled the notion that Ross is a mogul, and proceeded to call his luxurious lifestyle a front. “Imagine you having 88 million to spend on a crib,” he wrote with laughing emoijis. “Your s**ts be steals like you got em from a police auction.” The rapper also claimed that Ross shares his “private jet” with others. “You put a wrap on your timeshare yet,” he said. “That s**t coming off when it’s the other people turn to fly.”

Drake Claims Ross’ Private Jet Is a “Timeshare”

Drake has a considerably higher net worth than Rick Ross. The former has an estimated worth of $250 million, while Ross is believed to be worth $150 million. This wealth discrepancy is probably why Drake felt confident comparing Ross to Brett Berrish, an entrepreneur and CEO of Sovereign Brands. Drake basically said Ross has to resort to side hustles to generate cash because Ross’ music doesn’t sell as well as his. “You Brett now,” the “God’s Plan” rapper announced. “You not Rozay anymore.”

This is not the first time Drake has dissed Ross on the basis of wealth. During a recent episode of the New Rory And Mal Podcast, Mal shared Drake’s reaction to Ross’ diss, “Champagne Moments.” To no one’s surprise, the rapper was unimpressed with what he heard. “He said he was richer than me and I turned it off,” is what Drake allegedly told the podcast host. It’s safe to assume that whenever Drake throws more shots at Ross on wax, the man’s bank account is going to be the main focus.

Metro Boomin Responds To Drake’s Drum Jokes Amidst Feud

Drake and Metro Boomin are at war. The latter may have started things by releasing two albums littered with disses, but Drake clapped back with “Push Ups.” The Toronto superstar saved his most dismissive bar for Metro when he rapped: “Metro, shut your h*e a*s up and make some drums, n***a.” He’s really hammered home the “drums” diss over the last few days. Drake posted a video clip of the film Drumline (2002) on his Instagram Story and sent a real marching band to perform outside of Magic City in Atlanta. He wants Metro to respond in haste.

Metro has finally responded. The producer took a break from promoting the album WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU to address the trolling, and he went an unexpected route. Instead of throwing subliminal shots at Drake, Metro decided to share a tutorial on how to program drums. “Start with your drums first sometimes,” he wrote. He provided a link to a YouTube video he posted in December, in which he talked about the benefits of starting a beat with drums. “Today it’s often slept on by the younger generation,” Metro explained. “The power of starting with your drums first… Securing a bounce and a rhythm that’s going to captivate people.”

Metro Boomin Posted A Drum Tutorial

Metro Boomin chose to take the higher ground in this instance. Drake’s diss has gone over well with rap fans, but Metro and Future have accrued a lot of commercial success in the last month. “Like That,” the diss record that kicked off the feud, became the first rap song since Drake’s “Nice for What” to spend its first three weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100. Metro is aware of this achievement because he tweeted about it. The producer also announced a tour with Future, will stop by Drake’s hometown of Toronto on August 11.

Not all of Metro’s posts have aged as well as the drum tutorial, however. The producer was clowned for praising Drake in tweets dating back to 2011. Some have been deleted, but Drake fans have continued to find old tweets that make Metro’s recent criticisms of Drake ring hollow. At least, for now. The Metro and Drake feud seems far from over.

Joe Budden Reacts To Drake Diss Track, Reveals His Favorite Bar

The entire rap world is currently reacting to beef between two of its biggest stars. It began last month when Kendrick Lamar took shots at Drake during his feature on the Future & Metro Boomin song “Like That.” The rap world was stunned by the development and the attention the song received caused it to debut at the number one spot on the Hot 100. One of the loudest voices in hip hop, Joe Budden, had plenty to say about the developments as they happened.

That’s why it’s no surprise that Budden is also reacting to Drake’s highly-anticipated response. He called together an emergency podcast to react to the entire track and he had plenty to say about it alongside his guests. They talked at length about how Drake directed responses to Kendrick, Rick Ross, and Metro Boomin without taking aim at Future. Budden even revealed that his favorite bar in the entire song is a shot at Metro that revolves around his production and making drums. Check out the clip of Budden and his co-hosts cracking up at the bar below.

Joe Budden Loves Drake’s Metro Boomin Bar

The rap beef world moves pretty quickly, so quickly that Rick Ross has already fired back at Drake. In a podcast discussing his response, Mal made some revelations about Drake’s reaction to it. He claimed that after hearing Ross claim he was richer, Drake turned off the track. Rick Ross has also been working overtime recently from claims that Drake got a nose job to his repeated attempts to flip Lil Yachty’s allegiance away from his former collaborator.

Last year, Drake claimed that he was going to take some time away from music. At the time he probably wasn’t expecting the barrage of disses that would follow. What do you think of Joe Budden’s take on Drake’s response track to various recent disses against him? Do you agree with him that the Metro Boomin drums bar is the best in the song? Let us know in the comment section below.
