Druski Grabs Snoop Dogg & DJ Drama To Help Promote Comedian’s Docuseries With “Standin On Bihness”

Druski’s comedic genius continues to grow as he inches closer and closer to his reality show spoof. The Maryland native has become one of the funniest and well-recognized comedians on the internet and it has landed him tons of opportunities. One of those includes the ability to release Coulda Been House. According to Billboard, the show is a hybrid of American Idol and Meeting the Band. To promote it, Druski is tapping Snoop Dogg and DJ Drama for a hilarious theme song called “Standin On Bihness.”

The premise of the comedy series is to take all of the contestants that tried to in a deal with Coulda Been Records and put them in a house to compete. The winner walks away with a grand prize of $50,000 and a deal with Druski’s label. However, the brand is not a real music company and it is a bit that the 29-year-old sort of became known for. According to HipHopDX, Druski spoke about the show on Skip Bayless’ Undisputed.

“We giving out opportunities, brotha, but we ain’t just giving it — you got to earn it.” The song title is also poking fun at the recent trend of saying “standing on business,” even though people rarely ever stand by it. It in part became popular after T.I.‘s song King Harris had his viral outburst at the Falcons game. Harris wanted some credit from Druski for using it as the song title, but that does not look like that will happen. You can check out the hilarious track produced by BNYX above, as well as the trailer for the series.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Standin On Bihness,” by Druski, Snoop Dogg, and DJ Drama? Is this one of the funniest songs you have heard all year? Quotable Lyrics:

Ten toes down, no would have been (I-I-I—)
Back in the hood again, n**** this could have been
Sign on the dotted line, one percent is yours, the ninety-nine is mine
Coulda Been house, one by one, all y’all n****s getting kicked out
This is tradition, anything goes when you in the audition
One foot to stand on, Dru’ got the bando, Mitch’s the sandles, bihness is handled

Snoop Dogg Recalls Supplying Legendary Rappers With Weed

Snoop Dogg recently recalled supplying several legendary rappers with marijuana before the legalization of the drug during the latest episode of his YouTube series, GGN. Speaking with Benny The Butcher about the Griselda rapper’s weed strain “The Butcher’s Breath,” Snoop explained that New York used to be known for having bad weed.

“You know what’s crazy,” Snoop began. “How, and I’mma be honest, hey guys I’m just telling the truth, New York used to be known for trash used to be known for straight trash. No this is no joke you can ask the rappers n***a they used to have seeds and all kind of sh*t in they sh*t they could be rolling up a blunt putting seeds and sticks you be like what the f*ck is you doing?”

Snoop Dogg’s Donald Trump Insults Enraged the Former President

The insults Snoop Dogg made about Donald Trump reportedly enraged the president during his final days in power.

Snoop Dogg Enraged Donald Trump With Clemency Requests

On Monday (Feb. 19), Rolling Stone reported that Trump regularly bad-mouthed Snoop to his staffers during his last few days as president. The Death Row Records leader was secretly negotiating with Trump to grant clemency to the label’s co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris, but a Trump staffer reportedly put together a dossier for the former president of all the times The DoggFather had spoken poorly about him.

“Well, f**k him,” Trump allegedly said to a staffer after viewing the compilation.

Trump’s anger and feeling of betrayal towards Snoop continued until the day of Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, 2021. Former staffers told RS that they tried to persuade Trump that Snoop wasn’t mad at him anymore. Apparently, the effort worked, and mere moments before presidential power was transferred to Biden, Trump granted Harry-O clemency.

Snoop Dogg Says He Has Nothing But Love and Respect for Trump

Snoop Dogg has now fully changed his tune about President Trump, and in January said he had nothing but love and respect for the former POTUS.

“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop told The Sunday Times. “He has done only great things for me…He pardoned Michael Harris. So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

Snoop had previously criticized the former president multiple times throughout his presidency and even held a gun to a fake Trump’s head in his 2017 music video for “Lavender,” which led to some backlash.

Snoop Dogg Tells Benny The Butcher He Supplied Wu-Tang Clan, Roc-A-Fella & More With Weed

Snoop Dogg recently sat down with Benny The Butcher and revealed how he helped cultivate weed culture in New York in the pre-legalization era.

On Tuesday (February 20), the Griselda rapper appeared in a new episode of Snoop’s GGN YouTube series to discuss several topics, including Benny’s new weed strain “The Butcher’s Breath.” While recalling a previous trip to New York when Benny supplied him with some of the strain, Snoop began breaking down how he helped influence the cultivation and consumption of chronic for his East Coast peers in the before times.

“You know what’s crazy,” Snoop started off. “How, and I’mma be honest, hey guys I’m just telling the truth, New York used to be known for trash used to be known for straight trash. No this is no joke you can ask the rappers n###a they used to have seeds and all kind of s##t in they s##t they could be rolling up a blunt putting seeds and sticks you be like what the f##k is you doing?”

Snoop continued, “S##t they didn’t know no better until n###a start catching that flight, f###ing with the real n###as out here [West Coast] cuz we f##k with y’all and n###a show the n###as what that s##t was and n###as saind, ‘Well we can’t get it there, how about we just get it there,’ you dig—and the connection was connected and there you have it weed stories one-on-one.”

Snoop went on to explain how he put rap crews such as Wu-Tang Clan, Roc-A-Fella Records and rappers such as Onyx and more before the major recreational marijuana push in the 2010s’.

Tha Dogg Pound – “DPG 4 Life” (Album Review)

Tha Dogg Pound is a renown hip hop duo consisting of Long Beach emcee/producer Daz Dillinger & Philadelphia emcee Kurupt. I really shouldn’t have to say much about their 1995 full-length debut Dogg Food since it’s widely recognized as one of the last great albums that Death Row Records ever put out. They’ve gone on to release some music here & there since but just 11 years after their last album 100 Wayz, they’re reuniting for their 8th full-length album.

“Ghetto” kicks things off with a chilled out depiction of having bills to pay & them doing fine whereas “We Rollin’” goes into a funkier direction with them stuntin’. “Dissolution of Marriage” is a calmer tune talking about just that, but then “Used 2” follows it up going into a more depressive tone.

Meanwhile on “Bottom Bitch”, we get a classy theme for all the pimps out there right before Snoop Dogg comes into the picture for spacey sex anthem “Nice & Slow”. The highnamic trio stick around for the g-funk thug anthem “Skip Skip” prior to going back to the romance tip on the atmospheric “Baby I Want U Bac”.

“It Ain’t Nuthin’” is an auto-tune trap ballad talking about smoking in an old school Chevy while “I’m On It” with Soopafly works in some snares & squeaking synths to talk about being hustlas. The song “Let’s Roll” serves as a melodic cut talking about partying with their ladies while the penultimate track “Hood Girl” brings in some keys to talk about their taste in women. Then they put the feel-good West Coast tribute “LA Here’s to U” off of Kurupt’s 2013 sophomore mixtape Money, Bitches, Power for the closer.

We’ve had to wait a little over decade for Dillinger & Young Gotti to reunite in a full-length capacity. The end results are a bit of mixed bag for me personally. I think the lovey dovey shit sounds forced even though “Let’s Play House” is one of my favorites all-time favorite DPG songs but when they’re on their g shit, it sounds more natural.

Score: 5/10

Suge Knight Bashes Drake for Using Tupac Shakur as an A.I. Pawn

Suge Knight is bashing Drake for using A.I.-generated voices of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg to diss Kendrick Lamar. He’s also taking the moment to accuse Snoop of playing a role in Tupac’s downfall.

Suge Knight Is Not a Fan of Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” Featuring A.I. Versions of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg

On Monday (April 22), Breakbeat Media dropped a teaser clip for an upcoming episode of Suge Knight’s Collect Call podcast. Evidently, the currently incarcerated rap mogul is not a fan of Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle,” the most recent diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar. Knight is taking umbrage with the fact that Drizzy used artificial intelligence to include verses in the likenesses of both Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur.

“Drake, hey, youngsta,” Suge Knight says in the video below. “Young people do what young people do, it’s y’all turn. But my little homie ’Pac, he wasn’t no joke then, and he damn sure ain’t no joke now. Putting him on a song with him dissing Kendrick for everybody entertainment, that ain’t how it go.”

Suge Knight is certainly qualified to speak on the nature of Tupac Shakur’s character. In the mid-1990s, Suge famously posted bond for ’Pac while he served a prison sentence for a sexual assault conviction. He subsequently signed Tupac to a deal with Death Row Records. The former Death Row CEO is also well-versed in rap beef as Suge played an integral role in the infamous East Coast vs. West Coast beef that involved Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Diddy and Snoop Dogg, among others.

Suge Knight Accuses Snoop Dogg of Contributing to Tupac Shakur’s Demise

On the subject of Snoop Dogg, Suge’s forthcoming episode of Collect Call finds him boldly accusing the current owner of Death Row Records of being part of Tupac’s untimely demise. In the audio clip, he explains that, in his opinion, Drake’s use of Snoop’s voice on the Kendrick Lamar diss track is disrespectful to ’Pac’s legacy.

“As far as putting him [Tupac] on a song with Snoop, who was part of his downfall, his exit, that ain’t never a good look,” Suge Knight says. “’Pac was a king on that chessboard. He never was a pawn, so he can’t be made to be a pawn now.”

Suge Knight Thinks Los Angeles Gangs Could Unite Against Drake for Dissing Kendrick Lamar

Knight closes his one-way conversation with Drake by making note of Los Angeles gang culture. The implication is that because Kendrick Lamar hails from Compton, Drizzy may be subject to backlash from the West Coast streets.

“West Coast, it’s a whole state of real gang members of all colors, all races” Suge explains ominously. “You don’t want them to come together. Especially when mothaf**kas sleeping in the lion’s den. Don’t wake those lions up.”

Suge Knight Claims Victory for Kendrick Lamar

Suge Knight is very much interested in the lyrical warfare Kendrick Lamar has been involved with recently. Aside from his dramatic take on Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Suge declared a victory for K-Dot over J. Cole. After Cole publicly retracted his response to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” on “7 Minute Drill,” earlier this month, Knight viewed the moment as a sign of weakness.

2Pac’s Brother Takes Issue With Drake Using A.I. Version Of Legend’s Voice For Rap Beef

Drake shocked the Hip-Hop world by utilizing artificial intelligence-generated 2Pac and Snoop Dogg verses to swing at his current rival, Kendrick Lamar. A relative of Tupac Shakur has addressed Drizzy’s polarizing “Taylor Made Freestyle” track.

According to TMZ, Mopreme Shakur had a problem with Drake using his brother’s voice in a rap battle. The outlet reports that Mopreme called the A.I.-created song a “nuclear option” and thinks the battle should be “1-on-1.”

Mopreme Shakur also apparently expressed worry that younger music fans may believe the “A.I. 2Pac” on “Taylor Made Freestyle” is real. However, the Outlawz member supposedly supports both Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Drake dropped “Taylor Made Freestyle” as the second response to Kendrick Lamar calling him out on “Like That” by Future and Metro Boomin. The Toronto representative also officially released the “Push Ups” diss track on April 19.

“Taylor Made Freestyle” led to mixed reactions from Hip-Hop artists, fans and media figures. Knowing Kendrick Lamar idolized 2Pac and Snoop Dogg, some listeners praised Drake’s creativity and pettiness.

In contrast, some people complained about one of the most successful rappers on the planet embracing artificial intelligence to make music. Critics expressed concerns that the move could be a slippery slope to watering down human-made artistry.

Suge Knight Warns Drake For Making Tupac A “Pawn” In Kendrick Lamar Beef

Suge Knight slammed Drake for using AI-generated Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur verses to diss Kendrick Lamar on “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Last Saturday (April 20), the Canadian superstar stunned fans by dropping another diss record at K. Dot after officially adding “Push Ups” to DSPs a day prior. Alongside his own verse, he “featured” West Coast legends Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac.

The former Death Row Records boss addressed the topic on the latest episode of Collect Call With Suge Knight.

“Young people do what young people do,” he began. “It’s y’all turn, but regarding the homie ‘Pac, he wasn’t no chump. Putting him on a song and dissing Kendrick [Lamar] for everybody entertainment — that ain’t how it go.”

When discussing Drake using a deep fake Snoop to attack Lamar, Suge Knight repeated his suggestion that the Doggfather was involved in Tupac’s murder.

“Then putting him on a song with Snoop, who was a part of his downfall and exit, ain’t ever a good look. ‘Pac was a king on that chessboard. He never was a pawn, so he can’t make him be a pawn now,” Knight stated.

He also warned that Drake, “sneaking in the Lion’s den” of West Coast gang members could unite the various affiliates. “The West Coast is a whole state of real gang members of all colors, all races,” he added. “Enter with caution.”

Meanwhile Snoop Dogg shared his reaction to Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” in a Instagram video.

“They did what? When? How? Are you sure? [Sigh] Y’all have a good night,” he said in the clip. “Why everybody calling my phone, blowing me up? What the f###— what happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed. Good night.”

Ye Says Future Asked Him to Record ‘Like That’ Remix

Ye says Future asked him to record the new “Like That (Remix)” and claims everybody was excited to diss Drake.

Ye Says Future Called Him Into the Studio for “Like That (Remix)”

On Monday (April 22), a few more previews of Ye’s upcoming appearance on Justin Laboy‘s The Download podcast surfaced online. With the interview set to premiere in full at p.m. on Monday via Yeezy.com, Ye reveals that Future personally called him to hop on the remix to Hendrix and Metro Boomin’s chart-topping track “Like That.” Much like the original version that features Kendrick Lamar, the remix intends to throw shots at Drake, which Kanye says is being met with a certain level of excitement from all involved.

“Pluto called me,” Ye explains in the video below. “I went to the studio, laid that and then we went through the creative process…You know, everybody was very, very excited about the elimination of Drake. Not excited, we was energized.”

On Future and Metro’s “Like That (Remix),” Ye takes direct aim at Drake.

“You know we had to get the hooligans up here and we gon’ take this p***y n***a out,” Ye says at the start of the remix seemingly in reference to Drizzy.

He then raps lines like, “Y’all so outta sight, outta mind/I can’t even think of a Drake line.”

Ye Thinks Universal Music Group and the Label’s CEO Lucian Grainge Are Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy”

Elsewhere in the upcoming episode of The Download, Ye throws more shots at the 6 God by referencing Drake’s song “Rich Baby Daddy” featuring Sexyy Red and SZA. He tells interviewer Justin Laboy that in his opinion, Drizzy himself has a “rich baby daddy” in the form of Universal Music Group and the label’s CEO Lucian Grainge. The implication is that Grainge and UMG are strategically placing Drake in positions of power within the music industry.

“Drake has a rich baby daddy named Lucian and Universal,” Ye opines below. “He’s like, ‘Man, my daddy got it.’ You know what I’m sayin’? It’s like, ‘My daddy control the spins, my daddy control the DSPs.’ Drake has a rich baby daddy named Lucian.”

Why Is Ye So Excited to Driss Drake?

Ye seems to be inserting himself into Drake’s ongoing beef with Future, Metro Boomin, Kendrick Lamar, and others, without his name ever having been mentioned in the current round of diss tracks. However, Ye’s stance doesn’t come as too much of a surprise given his long, storied history with the Toronto MC. After what appeared to be a bit of a cold war between the two influential rappers throughout the 2010s, rumors of a full-fledged beef came to fruition in 2018. After Pusha T exposed Drake’s son Adonis to the world on “The Story of Adidon,” Drizzy accused Ye of providing Push with the secret info.

After a few more years of subliminal shots on wax, Ye and Drake squashed their beef for a Free Larry Hoover benefit concert in Chicago in 2021. However, after Drake used Kim Kardashian’s voice for the 2023 track “Search and Rescue,” the beef was reignited. In March of 2024, Ye hit up Instagram and wrote “F**k Drake” before solidifying the smoke one month later with his appearance on the “Like That (Remix).”

The Ball Is in Kendrick Lamar’s Court, What’s He Going to Do Now?

Kendrick Lamar is ready for war. Or is he?

The Compton, Calif. rapper set the rap world on fire in March with his show-stealing verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which found him dissing J. Cole and Drake. Cole swung back on the since-deleted track “7 Minute Drill” before gracefully (or disgracefully, depending on who you ask) bowing out of the beef. That left Drake.

After some time to simmer, Aubrey tagged himself in when his diss track “Push Ups” leaked on April 13. On the now-confirmed diss, the 6 God goes at Future, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, and of course Kendrick, who got it the worst.

“Your last one bricked, you really not on s**t/They make excuses for you ’cause they hate to see me lit,” Drake snaps. “Pull your contract ’cause we gotta see the split/The way you doin’ splits, b***h, your pants might rip/ You better do that muthaf**kin’ show inside the bitty/Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty/Then we need a verse for the Swifties/Top say drop, you better drop and give ’em 50.”

“Pipsqueak, pipe down/You ain’t in no Big 3, SZA got you wiped down/Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down/Like your label, boy, you in the scope right now/And you gon’ feel the aftermath of what I write down/I’m at the top of the mountain, so you tight now/Just to have this talk with yo’ a*s, I had to hike down/Big difference between Mike then and Mike now/What the f**k is this, a twenty-V-one, n***a?/What’s a prince to a king? He a son, n***a.”

Drizzy has since doubled down, releasing the song “Taylor Made” freestyle on April 19. With the use of A.I., Drake uses vocals from Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur to taunt K-Dot. It’s starting to get ugly. Ye has even entered the chat, debuting his remix verse to “Like That” where he disses Drake and curiously J. Cole.

So, now, Kendrick has to respond, right? RIGHT??

The Pump Fake Kendrick Lamar Diss

On April 15, the rap world thought they had gotten the response they were looking for when an alleged “Kendrick Lamar diss song” leaked online. The song found “Kendrick” sniping at J. Cole and Drake.

“One rap n***a dead, laid on the floor/And I didn’t have to throw bullets for him to go/Now that we got that out of the way, it’s one more to go,” the lyrics go. “Stop wasting time, let’s get the show on the road/N***as was ignoring with deep disses, and when they get, that’s why they entertained it as sneak disses/And now that it’s direct, it’s leaked disses from burner pages and all/Insecure behavior from n***as y’all call gods/I know that you were sensitive, an emphasis on lame/Seeking validation from rap critics slandering names/Legacy forever cemented, I will reign/The next move make your best move, it’s detrimental.”

It turns out, the track was totally fake. An artist named Sy The Rapper later took responsibility for the song. However, not everyone believes him.

Will Kendrick Lamar Return Fire? The Rap World Is Waiting

While K-Dot has remained silent, there have been rumblings that he has something big in store. Back on April 10, Joe Budden claimed both Drake and Kung-Fu Kenny had disses in the works that are going to be mammoth.

“I have it on good information that both sides went in the booth and came out,” Joe explained on an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. “What I’m hearing about both sides is that it’s nuclear. It’s up-up. I’m hearing this from people that can rap. So, I want to come in here and say that speculation time is over. Debate time is over.”

Drake’s “Push Ups” leaked a few days later. So there is a chance Joe’s sources are accurate about K-Dot as well.

On an April 18 episode of TJBP, cohost Ish also talked about an impending Kendrick response.

“Some people that have heard the Kendrick track, I heard that his energy is just something that’s going to be hard for Drake to match. They said he’s coming on some ’Pac ‘Hit Em Up’ energy,” Ish explained.

As one of the most reclusive artists in the game, K-Dot is being tight-lipped. Even in the midst of more taunts from Champagne Papi. Is this the calm before the rap prodigy delivers the storm? Hip-hop is in wait-and-see mode.
