Most artists’ works sound like their creators are torn between doing exactly what pleases them and, perhaps understandably under the circumstances, giving their audience what they want. But there’s no doubt which of these impulses has been intuitively followed by Curtacy  in his latest drop, a fully personal eighteen-song album self-titled Curtacy. The energetic “Bad Mood”, the more intimate “For Me” feat Dad, or the groovy “Conversations” are some of the trendiest tracks on the album, each offering a specific angle and a different array of emotions to listeners. The extremely catchy and fun “Side Chick” is one of the many gems on Curtacy, an album that manages to be appealing both to the genre’s connoisseurs and to larger audiences.
