After announcing their new deal, JAY Z and Roc Nation have cranked out new ideas including their latest ‘Songs of the Season’ and ‘Inspire Change Apparel’ Initiatives. Nearing the season’s kickoff, TMZ has gotten word that they’ll also be donating close to a half a million to the site of the season opener, Chicago.

Inspire Change program is donating a great deal of money to two lucky Chicago groups, which gives at-risk kids alternatives to gang and gun violence. Vic Mensa, Rapsody, Meghan Trainer and Meek Mill will visit both programs this week. The lucky groups, BBF (Better Boys Foundation) Family Services and Crusher’s Club, were hand-selected by JAY-Z.

JAY Z has been met with some criticism over his choices to work with the NFL as well as praise, Diddy even took to instagram to give his own support. “Hov is one of the greatest to ever do it. He has been there more than anybody from the hip hop culture, including me. He always has been so selfless and fights for other people. We as a people can not be divided and conquered at this time!” Diddy said on Instagram.

What do you think of JAY Z’s involvement thus far? Let us know.
