During the Hangout FestTravis Scott announced that he will be donating all of his merch sales to Planned Parenthood.

“I wanna just donate my net profits from our merch today to Planned Parenthood,” he said during his set. “I love y’all and I just want everyone to know that love is the strongest thing we can have.”

His generous announcement came in the light of the anti-abortion laws that were passed in Alabama and Missouri. But Travis wasn’t the only to take action on the issue. On Saturday, Offset publicly condemned the Alabama Human Life Protection Act by comparing it to slavery.

“New laws is slavory [sic],” he tweeted. “To force a rape victim to keep a child is SLAVORY IM NOT PROUD TO SAY IM FROM AMERICA!!!”

Other celebrities have also expressed their anger, including Lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Chris Evans, John Legend, among others.

Alabama’s Governor Kay Ivey signed the restrictive abortion bill into state law on Wednesday, and on Thursday, the Missouri Senate followed suit. The bill will ban abortions starting at eight weeks into a woman’s pregnancy.

The Missouri bill, however, still needs to pass the Republican-controlled House. This bill will allow pregnant women facing medical emergencies to have an abortion, not including rape or incest.
