Chris Budden shares stylish visuals for “Confessions” [Video]
UK rapper/songwriter/producer Chris Budden shares the visuals for his song “Confessions”. A mid-tempo R&B/trap jam that showcases his stylish melodic flows and vivid raps that dwell on his inner demons and how he has to cope with all the craziness around him. The track was written by Budden and co-produced with Cee Figz, who has also worked with the likes of Popcaan, Wretch 32, and Fredo.
The visuals shot by director Lutch have a celebratory feel and sees Budden hanging at a house party with his people. it also makes use of performance shots and still photos seamlessly weaved into the visual but shot in black and white.
Speaking about ‘Confessions’, Chris Budden says, “The song ‘Confessions’ is me admitting to my wrongs, but still being too numb to them to change my bad habits. It’s like I’m going on a guilty trip, but still too proud to apologise. For the ‘Confessions’ video, it was set in a mansion, and if you notice, there’s not that much close angle shots as I like to have a mysterious slant to what I do. With this video, I want the viewer to feel my pain, but at the same time, go on a party trip with me”.
With two mixtapes Wudnt Be and 13:33, over 40 songs, and co-signs from the likes of Tim Westwood, Wretch 32 and Wiz Khalifa under his belt, Chris Budden has been hard at work with producer Cee Figz on his upcoming comeback project, led by new single “Confessions”.
