Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran Reconnect at Coachella

Chris Brown and his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran were spotted reconnecting at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival over the weekend.

The stars were out for the first weekend of the annual music showcase, which went down in Indio, Calif. from April 11-13. On (April 12), TheShadeRoom obtained video that shows Chris and Karrueche chopping it up among friends at the festival. In the short clip, which can be seen below, Chris says something to Karrueche that cannot be heard over the blaring music. She reacts by laughing. From the look of the video, it appears the two are now on good terms.

Chris Brown and Karrueche’s Rollercoaster Relationship

Chris and Karrueche started dating in 2011. However, things turned rocky in the following years, which included instances of them breaking up and getting back together on multiple occasions. In 2014, things appeared to finally be over. In 2015, Chris said he still loved Karrueche despite their breakup.

However, in 2017, Karrueche got a five-year restraining order against Chris after claiming he threatened to kill her. In the years since then, Chris has seemingly had problems with whoever Karrueche was dating at the time, including Quavo and NFL wide receiver Victor Cruz. In 2024, Chris Brown and Quavo traded shots on wax. Karrueche seemed unbothered by the rappers seemingly beefing over her.

“I don’t feel, it is what it is, I’m living my life,” Tran told TMZ when asked about the feud. “I’m working, paying my bills, taking time for myself and that’s al that matters… I ain’t got nothing to do with it.”
