Tay-K Tied to Ironing Board, Beaten With 2×4 as a Child

Tay-K‘s sister takes the stand in a Texas court today before the jury sentences the rapper in his second murder trial, and describes a horrifying pattern of abuse the siblings experienced as children.

Tay-K’s Sister Recalls Tay-K Being Tied to an Ironing Board and Beaten

Kayla Beverly, Tay-K’s sister took the stand in Bexar County Court in Texas on Tuesday (April 15) before the sentencing is handed down to the rapper, who was found guilty this week of murdering 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar in 2017.

She describes herself and Tay-K being put in foster care as children and experiencing physical abuse by their father when they returned to his custody.

Beverly alleges that their father would beat them with a 2×4 and tie Tay-K to an ironing board.

On April 14, Tay-K was found guilty of murder in the killing of Mark Anthony Saldiver and found not guilty of the charge of capital murder. The jury decides the rapper’s punishment, with a possible sentence ranging from 5 to 99 years in prison.
