On Sunday (May 4), VH1 hosted a premiere event for the new season of Basketball Wives, which debuts on Monday (May 5). The new season features Brittany Renner, who has a child with Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington. Renner, who is known for her sexual exploits with multiple celebrities, is currently dating Kevin Gates. However, they may have revealed they recently tied the knot.
During an interview at the event, Renner talked about her recent conversion to Islam and gushed over Gates.
“Islam has made my life better in every category,” Renner says in the clip below. “Like my husband says,” she adds, pointing to Gates, who is standing behind her, “the closer you get to God, the more you get.”
When asked about her relationship with Gates, Renner responds, “His name echoes in every chamber of my heart. It’s hard to describe a love like that. All I can say is, I’m with the person that I quite literally dreamed of.”
In Instagram photos from the event, Renner is seen flashing a huge ring on her wedding finger.

Kevin Gates married his longtime girlfriend, Dreka Hayes, in 2015. However, the couple parted ways seven years later. Gates appeared to confirm the breakup on the 2022 song, “Bad for Me.” Gates and Dreka share two children, Islah and Khaza.
