Kid Cudi Announces New Book Recounting His Childhood Life Story
Kid Cudi is gearing up to release a book chronicling the most intimate and integral moments of his childhood. On Saturday (March 9), Kid Cudi shared a lengthy message on Twitter (X) revealing he’d just thumbed his way through the memoir, which led him to offer his followers some words of encouragement.
“I’ve read the first chunk of my memoir and I wanna say, to all those kids goin thru it in school or at home, I know it seems like nothing good is gonna happen to u, but those growin pains will mold u into a fully realized well rounded adult,” Kid Cudi wrote in part.
As he continued, he remarked on reckoning with his parent’s guidance as an adult before assuring fans the book will illustrate a complete picture of his character as a man.
“Ull learn ur parents for the most part were right, and everything they did for u was to better ur life,” he said. “All kids go thru s###, it makes us who we are as adults. We learn and we grow and become better humans becuz of it. My book will bring u into my childhood and show u what made Scott Mescudi the man he is today. It’ll all make sense soon.”
In a follow-up post on Instagram, Kid Cudi shared a screenshot of the lengthy tweet along with the caption which reads, “CUDI: THE MEMOIR COMIN LATER THIS FALL.”
Kid Cudi has openly discussed the profound influence of his parents, in addition to the impact of losing his father at a young age, throughout the years.
