Yo-Yo Shocked Over Rumors Diddy Allegedly Involved In Tupac Shakur’s Murder
West Coast rap pioneer Yo-Yo has known Sean “Diddy” Combs for decades and was shocked to learn of the abuse allegations against the mogul.
Yo-Yo shared her reaction to reports of Diddy’s alleged abuse during a recent curbside interview with TMZ.
“I hate to kick a man when he’s down,” Yo-Yo began. “That’s why you do good, good comes back to you. Keep your hands clean. A lot of stuff that wasn’t done is being blamed on him and a lot of things that were done he’s getting charged for.”
She added, “It could have been me, I could have been at the Diddy party, but I wasn’t.”
Yo-Yo was particularly disturbed to hear the allegation linking Diddy to Tupac Shakur’s murder.
“We go back,” she added. “I’ve known Puffy my entire career and to hear a lot of the allegations that were put against him, I was very shocked. Even the Tupac situation, all that stuff is you know … Tupac and I were very close. So, [to] hear all this stuff, is like well you know I mean…”
Yo-Yo Reflects On Relationship With Tupac Shakur
Yo-Yo spoke to AllHipHop about her relationship with the late rapper during a 2019 interview, revealing they were like “brother and sister.” She also revealed that she was in the hospital in Las Vegas with Tupac when he passed.
“I thought he was gonna live, let’s just start there,” she explained. “He was very strong. My presence was known, he looked at me. He knew I was there.”
Earlier this year, Page Six reported Tupac Shakur’s family is considering a wrongful death lawsuit against Diddy.
“People from Diddy’s past are coming forward and providing info,” a source told the outlet.
Murder suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis implicated the Bad Boy Records founder in past statements to police. The embattled mogul has denied any involvement in Tupac’s murder for years. Keefe D is set to go on trial in November.
