Beyoncé Sends Toddler Flowers Amid Coach Dawn Staley Praise

Now that Beyoncé has given South Carolina Women’s basketball Coach of the Year Dawn Staley her flowers amid back-to-back NCAA national titles, she’s sending flowers to toddlers.

Well, not exactly. One lucky rugrat has joined the likes of Staley in Queen Bey’s book after the COWBOY CARTER vocalist sent the tike one of her trademark bouquet’s of blue roses. And while the tike is obviously way too young to compete at one of the highest levels in organized sports, he still managed to win over Beyoncé’s heart, much like Staley and the Gamecock’s roster did this year. The boy, Tyler, effectively won the hearts of more than 17 million TikTok users after a video of his conversation with his mother went viral due to his claim that Queen Bey was his actual homegirl.

“Where’s Beyoncé?” Tyler asked his mother in part.

“Beyoncé’s in her house, baby,” his mother, Bea Fabregas, replied.

“She’s our friend,” Tyler insisted after asking to visit Beyoncé.

Considering the original video was posted on April 16, word must’ve spread like wildfire because Fabregas shared an update post less than 10 days later, making it Instagram official by revealing that Tyler and Beyoncé were basically besties.

“BEYONCE VIDEO UPDATE,” Fabregas wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. “For the record @beyonce and Tyler are now actually, officially friends! Through the power of Queen B’s internet (millions of views and likes it’s crazy!) she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure. In her note (which she started out with ‘To my friend Tyler’ ) she said, ‘I see your halo, Tyler’.”

Bea ended the lengthy post writing, “BEYONCE SENT MY BABY FLOWERS!!!!”

Beyonce Surprises Adorable 2-Year-Old Superfan With Heartfelt Gifts

It’s no secret that Beyonce has a fiercely loyal fanbase, and evidently, members of her hive are getting started young. Last week, Instagram user Beau Fabregas shared a clip of her and her 2-year-old son Tyler enjoying a pizza date when he adorably asked if they could visit Beyonce. “We don’t know her personally,” Fabregas explained to him. “She’s not mama’s friend.” Tyler was persistent, however, insisting that they do know her personally. “Beyonce is my friend,” he declared.

Fortunately for the young fan, Beyonce caught wind of the heartwarming video and decided to thank him for his support with some meaningful gifts. Fabregas shared another post earlier this week revealing that Bey’s publicist sent her a DM claiming that the hitmaker “would love to send something to him.” Of course, she agreed, sharing photos of Tyler posing next to a bouquet of bright blue flowers and a new stuffed animal.

Tyler & Beyonce Are Officially Friends

“For the record @beyonce and Tyler are now actually, officially friends!” Fabregas captioned her post. “Through the power of Queen B’s internet (millions of views and likes it’s cr*zy!) she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure. In her note (which she started out with ‘To my friend Tyler’) she said, ‘I see your halo, Tyler.’”

“Thank you so much for thinking of our little family @yvettenoelschure @beyonce. I mean with the amount of mentions and videos Beyonce gets everyday, it still blows our mind to know time was set aside to send this sweet gift over. My mama heart,” she continued. “BEYONCE SENT MY BABY FLOWERS!!!!” What do you think of Beyonce thanking her 2-year-old superfan with some heartfelt gifts? Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” Inspires New Documentary, “Call Me Country”

Beyonce‘s new country album, Cowboy Carter, and its impact on the genre will be the focus of an upcoming documentary from CNN FlashDocs titled, Call Me Country. The production is expected to be available later this month, according to The Tennessean. John and T.J. Osborne of Brothers Osborne, Rissi Palmer, Aaron Vance, and Denitia will all sit down for interviews during the piece.

“Beyoncé’s highly anticipated album Cowboy Carter, released March 29, arrived during a revolution within country music as the latest arena of the culture wars in America,” Warner Brothers Discovery said in a statement as noted by HipHopDX. “Some in the industry are welcoming more diverse artists, while others stick to a much narrower view of a genre that predominately centers around straight, white men.”

Despite ample praise for Beyonce’s newest effort, several voices have derided the project publically. Most recently, Courtney Love admitted she didn’t like the album during an interview with Standard. “I like the idea of Beyonce doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed, not that I like it much. As a concept, I love it. I just don’t like her music,” the Hole singer explained. Before that, Azaelia Banks made headlines for criticizing Beyonce’s project. “Sis, I live for Whiteyonce Donatella Bianca Bardot DOWN, but I’m kind of ashamed at how [you] switch from Baobab trees and Black Parade to this literal pick me stuff,” she wrote on Instagram back in March.

Cowboy Carter debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with 407,000 album-equivalent units, after releasing on March 29. Country legends Dolly Parton, Linda Martell, and Willie Nelson appear on the project. Be on the lookout for further updates on Beyonce on HotNewHipHop.

Beyonce’s Country Album, Taylor Swift, And Lana Del Rey Don’t Have Courtney Love’s Approval

In her new interview with Standard, Courtney Love had a lot to say. For starters, she doesn’t mind being the villain in someone else’s story. “People used to say that I was so difficult,” she told the UK-based outlet. “They said I was disagreeable. Yes, I am completely disagreeable and I’m never going to apologize for that. I always wanted to be known as a b**ch,” the blonde icon said. According to her, the late Kurt Cobain sought social approval, while Love couldn’t be bothered wasting her energy on such things.

The musician has been promoting her new eight-part BBC Radio 6 Music series, which follows her as she reflects on other women in the industry who have shaped her journey. Among them are Black classics like Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, though Love had plenty to say about female entertainers she’s less fond of too. “I like the idea of Beyonce doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only White women have been allowed, not that I like it much. As a concept, I love it. I just don’t like her music,” the Hole frontwoman said.

Courtney Love Has Plenty to Say About Other Women in the Music Industry

Elsewhere, her comments about another modern starlet are catching major heat online. “Taylor [Swift] is not important. She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist,” Love declared. Of Lana Del Rey, the 59-year-old added, “I haven’t liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song, and I think she should really take seven years off. Up until ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ I thought she was great.”

No matter how Courtney Love might feel about Beyonce‘s eighth studio album, we can’t deny the impact COWBOY CARTER has had so far. While the vocalist’s first-born, Blue Ivy Carter, joined her for most of the RENAISSANCE World Tour, it was Rumi’s turn to shine on the country-based LP. Thanks to the young girl’s work, she broke a record on the Billboard Hot 100 previously set by her older sister. Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” Projected To Block J. Cole’s “Might Delete Later” From Debuting At No. 1

J. Cole’s controversial Might Delete Later seemed to be on pace to open at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart. However, the latest projections have the Fayetteville native losing the top spot to Beyoncé.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album will remain at No. 1 with 131,000 units in its second week of release. Might Delete Later is set to debut in second place. J. Cole’s mixtape looks to rack up around 118,000 units.

HDD previously reported Might Delete Later‘s first-week projections at 140,000 to 160,000 equivalent album units. Cole currently has six Billboard 200 chart-toppers. The final official sales numbers for those weekly rankings come out on Sunday.

Might Delete Later generated a lot of buzz in the Hip-Hop world because of the closing track. J. Cole used “7 Minute Drill” as a response record to Kendrick Lamar’s viral diss verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” single.

Surprisingly, J. Cole apologized for releasing “7 Minute Drill” during his set at the 2024 Dreamville Festival in the rapper’s home state of North Carolina. He also removed the song from the Might Delete Later tracklist on streaming services.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter became the music icon’s eighth Number One when the studio LP launched at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 chart. Cowboy Carter set the 2024 record for best first-week opening with 407,000 album-equivalent units.

Beyonce’s Daughter Rumi Carter Breaks Blue Ivy’s Hot 100 Record

Back in 2019, Blue Ivy Carter broke an impressive chart record. She became the youngest person to ever be credited for a song on the Hot 100. She appeared alongside her mother, SAINt JHN, and Wizkid on the track “BROWN SKIN GIRL” from Bey’s The Lion King soundtrack. The song spent one week at number 76 on the charts but it was enough for Blue Ivy to secure the record. But now as the tracklist of COWBOY CARTER has hit the chart, she no longer holds the record.

Within COWBOY CARTER is the track “PROTECTOR.” The song sees Bey leaning into some of her maternal instincts and ambitions, which is why it’s so perfect that it includes her daughter Rumi Carter. The 6-year-old’s song debuted at number 42 on the Hot 100 this week. Every single eligible song from the project hit the Hot 100 this week. That included “TEXAS HOLD EM,” “II MOST WANTED,” and “JOLENE” in the top 10. With her placement on the chart she officially surpassed Blue Ivy as the youngest credited artist to ever appear on the Hot 100.

Rumi Carter And Beyonce‘s Collab Breaks Blue Ivy’s Record

Beyonce made history of her own when the album hit the Hot Country Albums chart. She officially became the first black woman to ever top the chart in its entire 60 year history. Last month, she received a special Innovator Award during his year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. Artists like Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars have taken the award home in the past.

The praise for COWBOY CARTER has been overwhelming. Fans and critics alike have spoken positively of the album since it dropped. That’s why it’s no surprise that its first week featured the biggest sales total for any album of 2024 so far. What do you think of Rumi Carter breaking Blue Ivy’s record for being the youngest credited artist to ever appear on the Hot 100? Do you think Rumi’s record will ever be broken? Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s Daughter Rumi Snatches Hot 100 Chart Bragging Rights From Blue Ivy

Beyoncé wasn’t the only member of her family making history with the release of Cowboy Carter. The music superstar’s daughter Rumi Carter became the youngest-charting female on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to the child’s appearance on Beyoncé’s song “Protector.”

Beyoncé’s “Protector” debuted at No. 42 on the Hot 100, helping 6-year-old Rumi break a record held by her older sister Blue Ivy Carter. Blue Ivy was 7 years old when she earned her first Hot 100 entry. Blue Ivy achieved the feat by contributing to Beyoncé, SAINt JHN and Wizkid’s song “Brown Skin Girl” from 2019’s The Lion King: The Gift album.

Blue Ivy maintained some bragging rights in the Carter family as she’s still the youngest person to appear on any Billboard chart. As a newborn, her vocals were used for her father Jay-Z’s track “Glory” in 2012. The song peaked at No. 23 on Hot Rap Songs and No. 63 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs.

Rumi and Blue Ivy were never the youngest kids to chart on the Hot 100. France’s Jordy scored a hit single as a 5-year-old boy. His song “Dur dur d’être bébé! (It’s Hard to Be a Baby)” reached No. 58 on the Hot 100 in 1993.

Beyoncé released her Cowboy Carter album in March. The project debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, giving her the eighth No. 1 album of her career. Cowboy Carter sold 407,000 equivalent album units in its first week. It was the music industry’s biggest week of sales in 2024.

Cowboy Carter also debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. Beyoncé was the first Black woman to score a No. 1 album on the country chart. Earlier this year, she became the first Black woman to hit No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Beyonce Makes Country Music History With Chart-Topping New Album

Last month, Beyonce unleashed her highly-anticipated new album COWBOY CARTER into the world. The record came on the back of two acclaimed singles “TEXAS HOLD EM” and “16 CARRIAGES” which predicted a shift into the sound and style of country music. The album that resulted dabbled in country music and so much more throughout its tracklist and was met with oceans of critical acclaim as a result. Now the album’s chart achievements are rolling in and they’re equally impressive.

Over the weekend COWBOY CARTER debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. But the album didn’t just grab the top spot on the charts, it took a commanding lead selling nearly 300k more units than any other album. With a grand total of 407k Bey broke the one-week-old record for biggest sales week of 2024 previously held by Future & Metro Boomin. Earlier today the top 10 of the Hot 100 was revealed featuring three songs from the record. “TEXAS HOLD EM” returned to the top 10 hitting number two. Her Miley Cyrus collaboration “II MOST WANTED” came in at number 6 while her cover of Dolly Parton’s “JOLENE” is right behind at number 7. But she may have made an even more impressive achievement on the country album charts.

Beyonce Breaks Down Country Music Barriers

It was also just announced that COWBOY CARTER debuted at the top of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. That means Beyonce is officially the first black woman to ever top the chart in its entire 60-year history. The accomplishment firmly cements the album in country music history. In the weeks following the release of the album’s lead single, many country music stations refused to play it. One in particular, was bombarded by the Bey Hive online until they finally caved and decided to put the song in rotation.

What do you think of Beyonce becoming the first black woman ever to top the Billboard Top Country Albums chart? Are you surprised there’s never been another black woman to hit number one on the chart? Let us know in the comment section below.

Beyoncé Becomes First Black Woman To Top Country Album Chart With “Cowboy Carter”

Once again, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter makes history. The 32-time Grammy Award winner is the first Black woman to go No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter became the best-selling country album this week by amassing 407,000 first-week units. The Columbia Records-backed body of work also leads the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

In addition, Cowboy Carter’s 407,000 opening haul marks the biggest weekly album sales total of 2024. That number also represents Queen Bey’s best sales week since Lemonade racked up 653,000 units in 2016.

Beyoncé now has eight leaders on the Billboard 200 as a solo act, giving her the fourth most Number Ones among female artists. She also reached the pinnacle of the chart two times as a member of the Destiny’s Child girl group.

Cowboy Carter came out on March 29. Beyoncé’s eighth studio LP received widespread critical acclaim upon its release. The 27-track project features Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Reyna Roberts and more. Country legends Dolly Parton, Linda Martell and Willie Nelson also contributed to the LP.

Beyoncé dropped “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” as singles from Cowboy Carter. The latter song peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the Houston native her ninth chart-topper. “16 Carriages” made it to No. 38.

Beyonce Goes No. 1 With “COWBOY CARTER,” Her Eighth Chart-Topping Album

Beyonce‘s new blockbuster album COWBOY CARTER has officially nabbed the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Moreover, with around 407,000 units sold according to Luminate data, this marks her eighth No. 1 album debut across her career so far. It’s the biggest sales week of 2024 so far, and the most massive since Taylor Swift‘s 1989 reissue last November. In addition, it’s the Houston superstar’s biggest debut since her 2016 LP Lemonade and resulted in her largest streaming week to date, as well as in her becoming the first Black artist to top the publication’s Top Country Albums list.

With this in mind, Beyonce is now fourth in the list of female artists with the most Billboard No. 1 albums, trailing behind Madonna with nine, Barbara Streisand with 11, and Taylor Swift with 13. Furthermore, various physical versions of COWBOY CARTER bolstered these sales, and this was actually her biggest-ever week on vinyl and the biggest for an vinyl album this year so far. The “BLACKBIIRD” singer has a lot to be proud of with this release, as do her featured guests. Beyond credited appearances, this LP also boasted contributions from 070 Shake, Pharrell, Stevie Wonder, Gary Clark Jr., Paul McCartney, Nile Rogers, and many, many more stars.

What’s more is that it looks like this horse is still in the race, as we’re still getting additions to the COWBOY CARTER lore. For example, Beyonce released a “Pony Up” remix of the single “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” recently as a bonus treat for the album. We can only hope that there are more planned additions, rollout strategies, and due expansions of the project in the near future. These don’t have to be new tracks per se, but considering how RENAISSANCE went, we’ll all surely stay along for the ride for a long time.

Meanwhile, what did you think of COWBOY CARTER? Is iHeart Radio’s 2024 Innovator striking gold again or are you already waiting on the third installment on the trilogy for another shot at a hit?
