Ashanti Reveals Nelly Is “Packing” In Wild Reality Show Teaser
Ashanti dropped a bombshell in a cheeky teaser for her upcoming reality series with Nelly, where she casually revealed her husband is “packing” — and she’s got the baby to prove it.
In a clip shared on Tuesday (May 14), the couple teased their Peacock series, Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, and things got personal quickly.
While discussing their relationship, Ashanti dished on Nelly’s anatomy.
“How you think KK got here?” she said with a grin, referring to their 11-month-old son Kareem Kenkaide Haynes. “He’s packing.”
The moment was one of several lighthearted exchanges previewed from the show, which follows the couple’s first year of marriage, their journey into parenthood and the balancing act of fame and family.
In another snippet, Nelly playfully told Ashanti not to slim down too much after giving birth. “Keep some of that thang thangin’,” he said, laughing.
Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together premieres Friday (June 26) on Peacock and spans eight 30-minute episodes.
The series offers a close-up look at the couple’s rekindled romance after nearly a decade apart, including behind-the-scenes moments, red-carpet appearances and family milestones.
The pair, who first got together in 2003, split in 2013. However, they reconnected in 2021 after a viral hug at the Verzuz battle between Fat Joe and Ja Rule. They quietly tied the knot in December 2023 in St. Louis County, Missouri, and welcomed their son in July 2024.
Both artists serve as executive producers on the show, which marks their first foray into reality television. The series aims to give viewers a raw and humorous look at their day-to-day life as a Hip-Hop power couple.
