Blueface Shows Off New Face Tattoos & Weight Gain In Viral Prison Pics
Blueface surfaced in new photos from behind bars this week during a prison call with his mother, Karlissa Saffold, and the internet had plenty to say about his fuller face and fresh ink.
The snapshots, shared by Saffold, marked the first time she had seen or spoken to her son in nearly two years.
“This my first time seeing and hearing my baby in almost 2 years,” she wrote on Instagram. “Never take hugging and loving your kids no matter how old they are for granted!!! They will always be our babies.”

The photos show the two speaking through a video call, with Blueface noticeably bulkier and sporting additional face tattoos. Observers online didn’t hold back, with comments like “He Too Comfortable In There,” “My boy eatin,” and “He’s getting big.” One user added, “More face tats is crzy.”
The West Coast rapper is currently serving a four-year sentence for violating probation tied to a 2021 assault case. He is expected to be released as early as June or July 2025.
Despite their rocky past, Blueface and his mother appear to be mending their relationship. For Mother’s Day, he sent her a message from jail: “Happy mothers day mom I love you an all your efforts…I will be their for yah next mothers day i promise i miss you i hope you like the Flowers I sent we got this momma let’s turn it around.”
He also issued a public apology, acknowledging the strain caused by outside influences: “I want to apologize to you for letting any female influences effect our relationship. I thought a few females may have loved me more than you but I was wrong.”
Saffold replied: “I love you more than life itself. Love make us do so crazy s###.”
