Jonathan Majors Confirms Secret Marriage To Meagan Good In Emotional Interview
Jonathan Majors has confirmed his secret marriage to actress Meagan Good.
The actor addressed the rumors during an appearance on the talk show “Sherri” on Wednesday (March 19) while promoting his upcoming movie Magazine Dreams.
Majors didn’t hold back when describing his emotions about tying the knot. Reflecting on the ceremony, he said, “I said to Meagan yesterday, I said, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life.’”
The actor opened up about the quiet ceremony, which took place on Tuesday (March 18) at the couple’s Los Angeles residence, officiated by Majors’ mother.
“My mother’s a pastor,” he explained. “My mother married us yesterday. Her mother was there.”
Jonathan Majors also shared that he followed tradition by seeking approval from Meagan Good’s father before proposing.
“I asked her father for permission… If that was alright,” Majors recounted. “He said, ‘That’s cool.”
The newlyweds commemorated their union with personalized wedding bands engraved in Hawaii, a detail Majors arranged after another conversation with his new father-in-law.
The couple’s romance first sparked headlines in May 2023 when they were spotted enjoying a date night. Their relationship quickly became serious, with Meagan Good publicly supporting Jonathan Majors by attending his court appearances beginning in June 2023.
Majors and Good initially crossed paths at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in October 2022, where Good described feeling an “instant connection” with the actor.
Speaking candidly to host Sherri Shepherd, Majors summed up his feelings succinctly: “I love that woman so much. So how it had happened — well, Lord… We fell in love.” He added, “We finally got to do it, but it was always the plan.”
Majors’ film Magazine Dreams is scheduled for release Friday (March 21).
