WATCH: New Videos Of Megan Thee Stallion May Help Tory Lanez After Trove Of Evidence Released

Tory Lanez became the center of a growing online movement on Thursday (May 29) as supporters launched a fresh campaign demanding a pardon from California Governor Gavin Newsom over the rap star’s conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The outcry came after Florida Representative Paulina Anna Luna promoted new video evidence that she claims clears the rapper of wrongdoing in the 2020 shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion.

Backers of Tory Lanez are analyzing a new website, 36HoursLater.com, which features never-before-seen footage and documentation that wasn’t fully considered in court.

The push gained momentum on Thursday (May 29) with a series of video uploads and social media posts that argue the Canadian artist was wrongly convicted.

The videos, uploaded to YouTube and embedded on the 36 Hours Later site, aim to reframe the timeline and challenge the prosecution’s narrative.

The campaign does not present new forensic evidence but instead focuses on Megan Thee Stallion’s admission that she was not shot, alleged inconsistencies in witness statements and how they were handled during the trial.

In one damning portion of the bodycam footage, Megan Thee Stallion can be heard saying: “I cannot go to jail; I cannot have that on my image.” She then tells the police officer she stepped on glass and then states, “I didn’t get shot.”

The online effort has also sparked renewed discussion across social media, with hashtags like #FreeTory and #JusticeForDaystar trending intermittently since the videos dropped.

The site’s creators claim the content was compiled by independent researchers and legal analysts who believe Tory Lanez’s conviction deserves a second look.

“The evidence is clear. The narrative about Tory Lanez was built on lies, contradictions, and missing facts. No DNA. No bullet fragments. Conflicting medical reports. Conflicting testimonies. Eyewitness testimony ignored,” Luna said.

Tory Lanez was convicted in December 2022 and sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet following a dispute in July 2020.

The case drew national attention and polarized the Hip-Hop community. Lanez has maintained his innocence throughout.

“A 10-year sentence for all of this is not justice. Tory Lanez deserves a pardon,” Luna added.
