Cam Be x Peter Jericho – “Cookin’” [Video]

Eclectic rapper/songwriter Cam Be gets candid about food and health in the black community in the song “Cookin’”. The funky genre-bending tune is ripe with engaging lyrics that tackle the issues black folks face when it comes to healthy eating but it comes with Cam Be’s own little conceptual twist which gives it an adult edge. The track also features singer Peter Jericho on the chorus.

The visual directed by screenwriter and self-published author Briana Clearly features multi-disciplinary artist Starlotta “Star” Milan who proceeds to whip up something scrumptious and healthy. The visual has a 70s aesthetics and comes with special recipe on screen for those who might be interested in making these dishes themselves.

“Cookin’”  is the third video installment for Cam Be’s Summer in September that was released in October 2020 following the release of “Fade Away” and Summer in September.
