Montreal-based emcee Cee is still on his grind and delivers another rest of the visuals this week. This time it’s for his new single “Stay Woke” where he teams up with producers, Myer Clarity, Jon Roser, and violinist Mike Tompa for a lively and anthemic socially conscious jam that we all can rock with. Backed by the crunchy drumbeats and rousing guitar lines, Cee takes the charge with his evocative and insightful lyrics that dwell on today’s state of affairs. From the ongoing pandemic, global social-political unrest to the craziness in hip-hop, the hard-nosed emcee helps put things in perspective in case you weren’t paying attention.
