Miami-born, LA-based independent musician Lo Artiz was raised by first-gen Cuban & Costa-Rican parents and grew up around various styles of music. She is a multi-talented songwriter/instrumentalist and singer who is fully hands-on with her craft and has sold out headlining shows at the Viper Room and Troubadour in Los Angeles. Her latest release “Softly Pt. 1” is a mellow and atmospheric tune that bridges the gap between neo-soul, lofi and jazz. The record touches on mortality and the uncertainty of life thereafter leaving listeners with questions to ponder. Over the sublime and trippy soundscape, she delivers an expressive and soul-gripping performance ripe with sultry layered harmonies.
