Mashiko and Pete Simpson know it’s “Not Enough”
Mashiko is a 3 man band made up of friends Sebastian Antosch, Max Legat, and Moritz Holy who met at an annual open-air festival in Vienna and started making music together. The trio expanded with producers Stephanie Weninger and Gunther Schuller who came with a fusion of analog and digital sounds. Their latest effort “Not Enough” is a funk/soul collaboration with UK singer Pete Simpson who brings a refreshing melodic vibe to the forefront. His vocals are commanding and punchy and the songwriting is relatable and evocative from start to finish.
Mashiko’s debut EP To The Skythe band saw them working with vocalists Gregor Bischops and David Sladek and now the band is back in the studio working on new music.
