Synik’s “Too Fly” is an uplifting record needed in these wild times
Lisbon-based Zimbabwe artist Synik is not new to TWIB and has been on our radar for years now. In his new effort titled “Too Fly” he embodies the true meaning of self-worth and delivers a spirit-lifting piece that everyone really needs at this moment. Bolstered by a lively and cinematic soundscape, Synik delivers a candid and heartfelt performance ripe with evocative lyrics that dive into perseverance, the resilience of the human spirit, its flaws, and ultimately the determination needed to truly find oneself amidst the madness.
On the production, Synik enlists instrumentalists ranging from jazz pianist/arranger Karlos Rotsen, drummer Ariel Rosa, bassist Ozeas Miranda and also a background vocalist Filipa Nunes with additional production from The Sailors.

Synik, a Zimbabwean emcee/rapper and spoken word artist based in Lisbon, Portugal is a skilled wordsmith and brilliant live performer who uses rap as a tool to make sense of his world, in the process, crafting socially conscious music with the aim of uplifting.
