The 8 Biggest Attorneys Defending Rappers Right Now

There have been some serious hip-hop-related trials going down over the past couple of years. When rappers’ freedoms are on the line, some of them spare no expense when picking legal representation. The Atlanta-based criminal defense attorney, who helped get murder charges dropped against Black Mafia Family’s Big Meech in 2003, has become one of hip-hop’s go-to-guys for his legal expertise. He recently leveraged favorable plea deals for YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Cardi B and YFN Lucci, and is currently running Lil Durk‘s murder-for-hire case.

Based out of Florida, Bradford Cohen has been a legal savior for some of rap’s biggest stars. In 2021, he famously got Kodak Black and Lil Wayne presidential pardons. He also boasts past clients like Drake, Pooh Shiesty and Polo G.
