AC Tatum‘s  “Perspective” sees him blending insightful lyrics with a bravado demeanor. Backed by a cinematic and somewhat solemn backdrop, he delivers a heartfelt and impassioned performance that listeners can feel.

 

 

[email protected] – “Ascension”

 

Emerging Houston Texas artist [email protected] caught our ears with his new single titled “Ascension”. The upbeat track sees him looking back at his struggles and how he found his way out of the doldrums. It’s relatable, honest, and well-crafted from start to finish.

 

 

Danie Sanchez – “Lone Wolf”

Danie Sanchez makes her entry on our list with “Lone Wolf” which explores her journey through this thing called life. She acknowledges her strengths and flaws as someone who has found her voice as the lone wolf making moves over hurdles and obstacles. Her cadence and flow are laidback but confident and her lyrical imagery is brilliant on this reflective soundscape.

 

 

MahdusMusic – “Save Soil” (feat. AcTheRapper & Jordan Meyer)

MahdusMusic teams up with Jordan Meyer and AcTheRapper for this insightful record titled “Save Soil”.  The somber piano-laden tune talks about the current state of affairs regarding the soil where everything grows and the way man has been mismanaging it since time immemorial. The trio delivers profound and evocative lines that aim to raise awareness of the situation and send out a call to action for us all and the government to do the right thing before it’s too late.

 

NappyHigh – “AllMine”

LA-based producer/rapper/DJ NappyHigh makes his entry on our list with this soulful tune titled “AllMine”. The record is sublime and displays his unique melodic style which he delivers in copious amounts. The record sees him pouring adulation on the woman of his dreams. Nappy is also 1/2 of the hip-hop/soul group BlueNotes (also with rapper Memnoc) providing production and engineering. He recently put out an 11-track body of work last year.

 

 

 

BROOXCiV – “Bad Trip/Distractions”

 

BROOXCiV shares his new self-produced record titled “Bad Trip/Distractions” on our list. The solemn track is made up of somber guitar plucks, moody sound designs, and sparsely arranged percussions that blend perfectly with his commanding voal tone and smooth flow.

 

 

 

 

CHRIS CART3R x Shun Ann – “Toxic”

CHRIS CART3R is a Louisville artist based in Denver, CO., who is not new to the site. In his new release titled “Toxic”, he gets into his emotional bag as he delivers a heartfelt record that listeners can feel. Backed by a bass-heavy soundscape, he shares his thoughts on a seemingly toxic relationship while Shun Ann backs him with a rousing melodic hook.

 

 

AfriCali – “Rubies & raindrops” feat Aceyalone

AfriCali team up with the legendary west-coast emcee Aceyalone for this reflective tune titled “Rubies & raindrops”. Over smooth percussions, warm piano progressions, and warm basslines, MC Eyezon and Aceyalone deliver heartfelt and vivid bars over the cinematic soundscape laid before them.

Satomaa – “Alternate”

LA-based rapper and multi-instrumentalist Satomaa comes through with this song”Alternate” which explores her journey as an artist on the west coast. From the engulfing summer vibe and unique LA aesthetic, Satomaa brings something refreshing on this tune. She sure delivers the goods with a mix of insight and bravado. “Alternate” is taken from her 2020 EP We’re Gonna Be Okay.

Nate Shy – “Blue Room”

Emerging emcee Nate Shy fuses R&B and hip-hop in his new track “Blue Room” which sees him pouring his heart over a moody and sublime soundscape. He pours adulation on the lady who held him down and conversates about the future and what it may bring.

CHRIS CART3R – “Missed Calls”

CHRIS CART3R comes through with some profound thoughts in his new single “Missed Calls”. Bolstered by a somber and ominous backdrop, he takes listeners deep into his life in his hometown of Louisville, KY, and the revolving door of characters and situations that make him tick.

TeeRare – “Found”

UK emcee TeeRare shares a new single “Found” which dives into the search for true inner happiness and joy. Over a bouncy trap backdrop, he gives his candid thoughts on the topic with an impassioned flow and a feel-good demeanor.

Flaco Paco – “Snap Like That”

 

Emerging emcee Flaco Paco makes his entry on our list with the bar-heavy track entitled “Snap Like That”. Over a smooth piano-driven boom-bap backdrop, he displays his lyrical prowess.

Belzar – “Manifest Your Dreams”

Belzar shares some uplifting words in his new single “Manifest Your Dreams” Backed by a soulful soundscape, the emcee shows pure growth as he details his journey through this thing called life as he learns new things and experiences to become a better person.

J.M€AZ¥ – “who that?”

J.M€AZ¥ new single “who that?” is the lead release from his upcoming mixtape #Eazymoney. The track has a moody piano-laden trap bounce and fiery raps laced with a myriad of puns and witty bars.

VENMC – “Blah Blah”

 

VENMC and Amir link up for “Blah Blah” a smooth guitar-laden banger that showcases both emcee’s fiery style and nonchalant demeanor as they flex on the opposition knowing they have achieved their goals regardless of what others may think.

Kapone – “PAYDAY”

Producer Kapone teams up with Australian rapper CHISEKO for this reflective tune titled “PAYDAY”. The track sees CHISEKO detailing his inner struggles with imposter syndrome and his slow climb out of the doldrums.

Calispeedway – “Akahol”

Calispeedway makes her entry with this off-kilter bass-heavy tune titled “Akahol”. Bolstered by a cinematic and pulsating beat, she details the effects of taking too many shots and the vivid aftermath. Her raps are quite impassioned and the lyrics are graphic too.

Hiway – “Feelin Like Bizzy”

Emerging emcee Hiway taps into the spirit of the legendary Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs N Harmony in his new single titled “Feelin Like Bizzy”. The mellow piano-driven track sees Hiway delivering a melodic machine gun flow in Bizzy’s rapid style and the result is dope from start to finish.

Calispeedway – “Goat Cheese”

Emerging rapper Calispeedway is all about her mozzarella in this money-inspired tune titled “Goat Cheese”. The production is punchy and moody and her flow is quite engaging as she reminds us that she is about her business and has no time for the nonsense.

C. Henry x Shaker – “Black Dove”

C. Henry x Shaker makes an entry in our list with “Black Dove” a blend of cinematic soundscapes, vivid songwriting, and catchy melodic hooks. The switch-up at the end is brilliant as well.

Julian Roy x Yank$ – “Escobar”

California-based songwriter/producer Julian Roy teams up with Yank$ for this heartfelt and feel-good jam titled “Escobar” which dives into past relationships that shaped him. It’s a blend of mellow trap vibes and future r&b sensibilities.

Chocolate Milk Boys – “TEN!”

 

Chocolate Milk Boys is a duo made up of Duncan Burnett and Producer Graham Barton who hope to bring their mix of feel-good vibes with insightful lyrics to the forefront. Their new single “TEN!” is about pushing through the pain and finding strength in letting go of the hurt and tribulations.

Chuuwee x Money Montage – “Ceilings”

 

Chuuwee and producer Money Montage return with a new release titled “Ceilings.” The single is of many songs written by Chuuwee during his recent recording spree and showcases his off-center rap style and knack for penning graphic images. The track has a dark ominous texture courtesy of Money Montage.

 

Big Dega feat Micwise, Papa Hooke – “Champion”

 

“Champion” is a lyric heavy track delivered by Big Dega who links with Micwise and Papa Hooke. Bolstered by a cinematic backdrop, the emcees bring a wide variety of styles ranging from melodic reggae chorus and uplifting bravado-laden raps laced over a somber vocal sample-driven soundscape.
